Swiftech MCW30 Chipset Waterblock for Most AMD & Intel Motherboards 1/2IN &3/8IN Barbs
Cons:
None at this time.
Pros: It does what it's supposed to. Good for the price. Comment:
Purchased for use with an ITX geforce-9300 zotac board. Chipset idles at ~30 as opposed to mid 70s with the stock heatsink. I was using a lian li case so there wasn't enough room to add fans, water cooled kept everything nice and tidy. Cheapest chipest water block after PM. |

Swiftech MCW30 Chipset Waterblock for Most AMD & Intel Motherboards 1/2IN &3/8IN Barbs
Cons:too many optional stuff comes with it? HA! none thus far.
Pros:easy to clean & install. provided plastic barbs do operate as expected while giving you the options of swapping them for 3rd party units. Comment:
VERY easy to clean & install. The provided multiple plastic barbs do operate as expected and will fit any possible standard configurations on the market, however do check prior to ordering, while giving you the options of swapping them for 3rd party units. |

Swiftech MCW30 Chipset Waterblock for Most AMD & Intel Motherboards 1/2IN &3/8IN Barbs
Cons:None noted
Pros:Nice looking, works well. Mounts on just about any board/chipset Comment:
I bought this to cool my MCP before I went Tri-SLI, not it's on my test bench loop. It works awesome, and the mounting system is awesome, I have yet to find a chipset/mobo I can't hook this up to! |

Swiftech MCW30 Chipset Waterblock for Most AMD & Intel Motherboards 1/2IN &3/8IN Barbs
Cons:Isn't completely universal
Pros:Price, compatability Comment:
Installed this on a DFI P965 Dark but it took a fair bit of work to get it installed. The Dark only has 2 hooks for the springs while this requires 4 for a good mount.I finally ended up throwing together pieces from an active tower chipset cooler to get a good install.I was surprised that the internal block is just flat as opposed to the fins that adorn the Apogee series blocks, but I suppose that the NB doesn't require quite as much cooling as a CPU.There are only so many universal chipset blocks out there so I would purchase this again, but I'd suggest people do more research than I did to confirm compatability. |

Swiftech MCW30 Chipset Waterblock for Most AMD & Intel Motherboards 1/2IN &3/8IN Barbs
Cons:None so far
Pros:* Tiny, perfect for my P35* Comes with 3 mounting options* Better than stock performance, so its worth it* Good price Comment:
I am happy with this product, especially given the price. It was easy to mount and had many mounting options (I actually ended up using the one intended for AMD chipsets to mount it on my P35). All in all a good product. Would buy again. |

Swiftech MCW30 Chipset Waterblock for Most AMD & Intel Motherboards 1/2IN &3/8IN Barbs
Cons:Advertised as universal, but doesn't work with an AMD southbridge. I had to modify mine to avoid an RMA.
Pros: It's a water block, and performs as such. Comes with alot of different connectors so it's compatible with any type of tube setup. Comment:
its a great little Chipset Block If your extremely careful with it i don't recommend running 1/2"" hosing to it because of the strain on the chips. Di |

Swiftech MCW30 Chipset Waterblock for Most AMD & Intel Motherboards 1/2IN &3/8IN Barbs
Cons:not michined like the other water sinks.
Pros:swiftech is a good company Comment:
i bought aa swiftech kit for water cooling it was the best thing i ever bought. all the peices i bought were awsome except this one. i know that this might not generat thatr much heat but, i still wopuld like to have seen this part machined with the grooves for the water to collect the heat like on the vga sink, or the cpu sink. but all in all thi was a good buy. maby swiftech might consider machining this watersink like the retst. |

Swiftech MCW30 Chipset Waterblock for Most AMD & Intel Motherboards 1/2IN &3/8IN Barbs
Cons:- plastic barb- not fit on certain board using SLI config
Pros:- making temperature drop by reasonable way- not so expensive Comment:
Well, i bought this to lower temp on my chipset mobo, but when it came time to install it, what a surprise to notice that i was unable to install it in SLI config (not enought room). I've got a DFI expert MOBO S939. Sure, im new in watercooling, so it's ok to making some noob error. But i'll try it anyway in single GPU config and make chipset temp drop from 45 to 30. was a little dissapointed to remove it after a while ... |

Swiftech MCW30 Chipset Waterblock for Most AMD & Intel Motherboards 1/2IN &3/8IN Barbs
Cons:Plastic Barbs
Pros:Good chipset cooler Comment:
Easy to install. I needed this to cool my 680i northbridge since it runs exceptionally hot and it does very well. Wish the barbs were not plastic though. Also, to make it fit, a capacitor underneath it needed to be bent slightly so I'm thinking of cutting off a little piece of the bracket. |

Swiftech MCW30 Chipset Waterblock for Most AMD & Intel Motherboards 1/2IN &3/8IN Barbs
Cons:comes with plastic barbs
Pros:Excellent cooling, easy to install, small Comment:
Installed this on my ASROCK 939 Dual-VSTA board with no troubles (ULI chipset). Lowered temps by 20 degrees. Make sure you use the rubber "O" rings on the barbs when installing. Would recommend this to anybody needed a NB waterblock. |

Swiftech MCW30 Chipset Waterblock for Most AMD & Intel Motherboards 1/2IN &3/8IN Barbs
Cons:Should give you other brackets to be more compatible with other chipsets
Pros:Works great for the price Comment:
Have installed this on my asus maximus formula motherboard and dropped my temperatures by 10 degrees. Works well. Also, would have been nice to get chrome barbs instead of plastic. |

Swiftech MCW30 Chipset Waterblock for Most AMD & Intel Motherboards 1/2IN &3/8IN Barbs
Cons:none
Pros:easy to install Comment:
I just installed this on a Asus Maximus Formula. It just barely fits on the X38 chipset but cools way better than the stock heatpipe. Drop my NB temps from 45c down to 28c. |

Swiftech MCW30 Chipset Waterblock for Most AMD & Intel Motherboards 1/2IN &3/8IN Barbs
Cons:-Installation-Doesn't drop temps that much
Pros:-Cost-Multiple barbs Comment:
Well I had a heck of a time installing this because of my motherboard NOT the product. It would have been nice to have the option of a hold down bracket like most CPU waterclocks have since that would have made my install alot easier. I am rather disapointed in the amount it dropped my temps however, 2 degrees celcius. Worth getting just to have yet another watercooled component in my computer. |

Swiftech MCW30 Chipset Waterblock for Most AMD & Intel Motherboards 1/2IN &3/8IN Barbs
Cons:Doesn't drop my temps as much as I'd hoped. Plastic barbs
Pros:Decent price, lot's of fittings Comment:
I had hoped this would drop my chipset temps more. There are lots of barbs included which is great but they are all plasic barbs so that's not so great. |

Swiftech MCW30 Chipset Waterblock for Most AMD & Intel Motherboards 1/2IN &3/8IN Barbs
Cons:- better choices available on the market
Pros:- low cost- adequate performance Comment:
This is a solid performer chipset cooler. While it is not the best on the market, it does its job well and it has a fairly low pressure drop compared to more restrictive blocks avaiable. Its a shame however that metal fitting were not included but rather cheap ones whose threads strip of if overtightened. |
inexpensive universal waterblock. easy to install anywhere with lots of included mouning hardware. low restriction
