Swiftech PWM Splitter Cable
Cons:-the female PWM connectors DO NOT FIT some fans without modding
Pros:-simple-elegant thanks to sleeving Comment:
These splitters work as expected, but with one caveat. The connectors on Swiftech's PWM have clips to hold them together (see product photo: top left connector, bordered by two slots.) This in not compatible with the majority of PWM fans, because they follow the 3-pin keying standard and have a plastic bit sticking out between pin 3 and pin 4. When you mate these two types together, the clip butts against that key and prevents you from making the connection. The solution is simple enough - replace one of the connectors, or break the clip off. The latter is easily accomplished: line up the fan's connector into a socket on the splitter, and push quickly together. Shield your eyes though, these things just snap right off. The pins have enough friction that they won't come unplugged on their own. |

Shares PWM wiring, but needs power from another 3 pin on the cpu unless you use an adapter for molex
