Cons:- Audio quality is quite poor; even less than the cheapest set of Logitech headphones you can pick up.- "Mic tube" doesn't stay well attached and is prone to fall off and be lost- Headphone connector is double-width due to a mic-jack holder and may not fit all devices.- Design doesn't stay on the head well.
Pros:- Very cheap when on sale- Mic quality is good enough for VOIP/Skype, although a little bassy/rumbly. Comment:
I picked this up on sale for $10; and, it's likely worth that price point if you need some extremely basic -- but you will not be satisfied with these as your primary headset long term. I'd recommended spending the extra and getting a medium range Logitech or a Razer headset for something that'll keep you happy for some time to come.If you constantly break headphones, these. If you need 200 headsets for a call center in Timbuckto, these. If you want a headset just for Skype/VOIP, these. If you want to listen to music or will wear them more than 30min at a time, not these. |
I guess for under 7 dollars including shipping and taxes is an okay deal. I won't comment on the headphone because the quality is just atrocious, the mic gets the job done, marginally better than what's built into my laptop.
