Pros: i7 cpu, 18.4 inches screen , BD combo , 1 TB hard disk , GTS460M Comment:
All in all nice laptop for gaming on the go. As for the nVidia drivers I downloaded the one for the X500-S1812 on the toshiba US support site, this model as a GTS460M. No problem gaming or working , it plain work :)5 Stars for 1199$ special , otherwise I'd give 4. |

TOSHIBA Qosmio X500-067 18.4" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit NoteBook
Cons:
5400RPM HDD and no Raid, size and weight, no fingerprint sensor, no sub woofer, poor USB port placement, Bi keyboard with no backlight
Pros: HD screen, high end graphics card with 1.5TB DDR5, Quad core cpu, excellent speakers, Win 7 64, Blu ray burner, e Sata, USB charger, 6GB DDR3, 1 TB HDDs Comment:
I got carried away installing games and caused the computers O/S to get corrupt. I had to reinstall Windows from the DVD I made and between making the DVD and reinstall it took many hoursDont leave any USB or memory cards installed as it can cause lots of issues when installing. The Blu ray and screen team up to make this an awesome movie watching machine. This machine doesnt get hot gaming and has awesome graphics. Sound is really good too. Plamrests and whole machine shows fingerprints real bad. I wash my hands regular, but you wouldnt think so looking at the machine. Keyboard keys feel squishy. I paid $1199.00 so I am super happy. |

TOSHIBA Qosmio X500-067 18.4" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit NoteBook
Cons:
Weight, its really a desktop replacement !5400 RPM HDs6Gb RAM, need to junk 2 to upgrade to 8.
Pros: Fast !!!Nice screenKeyborad layout and feel Comment:
This machine was a steal at 1199$.Works great, quite silent (no gaming or Blue-Ray playback).A bit annoyed but touch sensitive buttons just left of the keyboard so I can’t rest my hand without triggering one every 2-3 minutes.5 stars because of the $$$ I paid.Would be 3,75 starts at full price because of the 2x 5400 RPM HDs and 6Gb of Ram in 2 slots, so you need to junk some to upgrade. |
I'm not much of a gamer, play WoW on and off, but runs great on that game high settings. Haven't played too much with it on other games but excellent performance for a laptop.
