Have been using this for sometime now,and this model is an improvement fromthe older B/G only network models.Have added this to my security systemand increased my coverage of my houseand yard.(indoor only)The new interface is a nice improvement, and the SecurView Pro software is veryuseful and easy to set up.

Comment:
I bought this camera as a second unit to it's little brother the IP410w. I loved the first one and figured it would be handy to have the night vision so I opted to spend the extra few dollars. I picked this up on sale for $160, however that's pretty much the standard price on most other sites if you shop around.I was dissapointed to see that the unit was defective upon arrival. It wouldn't pan all the way around and the tilt function just didn't work. Thanks to NCIXs great service, I was able to get a replacement unit rather quickly. Once I set it up, I noticed right away the picture was a little darker on this unit however that was not a con. It seemed to have deeper tones to it. Installation was a breeze and adding it to my WiFi network was just as easy. I have it set up with a "dyndns" account so I can view it in any browser from anywhere. As I said, the only drawback seemed to be the night vision. If your camera is placed next to something light in color, that item tends to be very bright and the rest of the field of vision is darkened. Even with no objects to steal all the IR beam, it's still not that clear in the dark. Knowing this now, i would surely just wait out the sale on the model without the night vision and save that money.Overall though, this is a great camera, has a very clear picture even over WiFi and the software that comes with it is excellent for monitoring all your cameras together. Trendnet seems to make a good product. Just wait out the sales though.
