I use this with the matching Trednet TC-NT2 Network Cable Tester, and its great...super simple to use. I use to have a much more expensive probe at my old job, and honestly, this thing does just as good a job. You might want to get a pair of earbuds though, because if theres any noise in the environment, you can't hear it, its not very loud at all.And it doesn't come with a battery! You'll need a 9volt for it, and another for the tester.
