This camera is a good value, but anyone not having extensive IP knowledge will have trouble setting up the FTP and email options, as the instruction manual is of very little help.

great camera for the money im using this one to bust the water meter reader guy he has been averaging the meters for the whole block and now i can prove it ! the unit is mounted looking through my kids window forty feet from windows and i get a perfect picture. next step will be to purchase the infrared night vision lamp that tiger sells also!

First of all it is easy to get this up in running to a certain point, but then some of the more advanced features I am struggling with big time. This is my first security camera, but I think for the amount I paid it is a good quality picture. Mounts nice and easy too! The first issue I am having is that I can't pull it up from any computer like you are suppose to. I can do it from any computer when I am at my house. I don't know if this is my fault or the camera's fault. Called tech support and they are useless!!! I also am trying to set it up to send me emails when there is motion. That is a two part problem. First part the email settings aren't working, I believe this to be a issue with me but secondly the motion detection isn't performing very well. I set it to the lowest setting and I can run through the area where the camera is sure to get me and doesn't see enough motion. Then I try jumping up and down waving arms and nothing.
