Worst UPS ever made. I purchased 20 of these for my company. Everyone of them goes offline randomly. These things have hurt way more than they've helped. Everyone has been removed from service after less than a year. If they are called on then they have a lifespan of about 10 seconds for a PC and monitor. Not nearly enough time to save and shut-down. Worst purchase ever-made. Never buy this product, you will be sorely dissapointed. |
I have had this for a PC that runs 24x7. The PowerAlert software is not compatible with my 64bit Vista, but my problem is intermittent interruptions that rarely last more than 5 seconds, so even without the software this unit keeps my equipment running during those all to frequent blips. So it gets all 5s except for features due to the software incompatibility. I would love to have shutdown scripts.
