Taiyo Yuden DVD-R 8X 4.7GB 100DISC Spindle Shiney Silver Top

Haven't made a coaster yet so I'm happy. No problems as of yet. $40 for a 100 spindle is a pretty decent price for the quality of them.

Definitely one of the best DVD-Rs I've ever used. I've yet to have any problems with these discs, which is not surprising since they are so highly recommended. These will be my choice of media for the foreseeable future.

these DVDs are excellent, not a single coaster, and they last a damn long time. TYG02 is the code name, works great for Wii games, movies, backup, or PC games, no reason not to buy either only these or Verbs

Excellent burners, i had no problems with these burning with my BenQ 1640... The Code is TYG02 which is very good for at least my drive and has excellent overburn Would recommend to anyone!!!!

Nice media, if a little plain. I've also been using some bottom-of-the-barrel DVDs and the difference is noticeable and real. Suddenly those DVDs aren't such a bargain if you're burning coasters. No coasters with the Taiyo Yuden.

I have been using these discs for quite awhile, and haven't had one coaster as of yet. They are excellent quality, very inexpensive and are usually on sale. I would recommend these discs to anyone, due their reliablity and quality.

- The top IS mirror. Nice DVD, already burn 1/4 of my spindle and I got only perfects results.- Le dessus EST miroir. Beau DVD, j'ai déjà gravé 1/4 de ma tour et j'ai obtenu que des résultats parfaits.

Read alot about these discs, wanted to see what all the hype was about. Wasn't disappointed at all, all my Wii backups work without fault, NO DRE's what is what i was used to before using Verbatim, would definately buy again.

I love this media. Works great, it's inexpensive. It does what it is intended for.The surface is shiny and good for permanent markers.

This is my second pack of TYG02 and they are perfect so far. I usually burn them at a safe speed (8X) and I never got any problems. These disks could be read back from any DVD player/DVD drive I throw them at without any hitches. Highly recommended.

Been using these discs since I purchased them and haven't had any coasters or read/write errors. For the price, the regular brick and mortar stores can't touch it. Would recommend to anyone looking for this type of media.

I couldn't be happier, especially for the price I paid. This is absolutely the way to go for DVD storage until the DL verbatims come down in price. I haven't had a single coaster and couldn't be happier with the product.

I have been using this media for a long time (TYG02 Media Code). They have very high success rates, and years later there are no signs of oxodization or degradation of the disc. I like that they are not silver laquer tops as well. Very reliable, and reads on everything I put them in from dvd players and consoles to computers. Highly reccomended and reliable, and well worth the price.

Great disks for the price. Do a search on the best recordable media and Taiyo Yuden will be up near the top on nearly every list. No problems with my burner so far.

I hate the silver color on the top of those disc, as it makes them look cheap, but they really aren't cheap, as they're probably th best choice amongst all the brands... I compared many brands for the error rate, and MAN does the Taiyo Yuden OWN. Princo would give you 400 errors while TY is at 2-3 maybe. incredible.Note that the errors are normal and corrected by the dvd burner, but it's a sign of quality nonetheless.

This was my first purchase of Taiyo Yuden disks after hearing about them quite a bit. I haven't been disappointed yet.

Out of 300, only 2 discs ended up as coasters. I've been burning on those for the past year and my supply is now almost completely done with, I'll have to order more. They burn at the advertised speed and depending on your burner you may be able to burn at 12x. However, I do recommend to stick to 8x to preserve quality. DVD's were burned with a Pioneer DVR110All in all, a great value.

This is excellent dvd media for the price, burnt well over 100 dvds with finding a defect unlike other brands such as ridata. quality is excellent.

Most people probably don't recognize this brand but in the recordably DVD disk world these are considered to be some of the best. #1 grade Taiyo-Yuden disks (like these) are the longest lasting and most reliable disks you can get for consumers. I would recommend these disk to anybody.
