Tesoro Durandal G1N MX Brown Switch Gaming Keyboard Programmable Keys
Cons:-Only 1 year warranty-The styling of the case is a bit Razer-esque and flashy, can be a pro or a con depending if you like it
Pros:-Cherry MX switches-Keys appear to be laser etched and not printed-Well built-Full-size, standard US layout, no funky stuff going on layout wise-The rubber feel work well |
The brown MX switches are amazing. They don't feel linear as blacks, but the feedback is subtle. They are fairly light and easy to press but still very satisfying. They can be loud or more soft depending on how hard you press. They are great for both gaming and typing. The media keys do work in Windows 7. I find the regular price is deceiving. At the time of this review the regular price is listed the same as Durandal Ultimate, which is the backlit version of this keyboard. This does not make sense to me. I hope this is not the retail trick of inflating MSRP.I love the keyboard but I think I would enjoy it even more with backlighting.
