Thecus N7700+ Network Attached Storage

Great product, installed 7 1.5tb drives, hooked it up with our AD and amazed at the features, even works with our UPS. Had a question and Thecus support is very fast. A good buy for small businesses, we jumped from 268GB storage to almost 7TB.

Comment:
I am using this at home as a media server. There were a couple of quality issues at first (missing the HDD mounting screws and a couple of screws in the chassis were missing), but the support line straightened it out over time. Since then I am loving it. Easy to set up, works quickly and quietly. I've got about 2TB of media that I stream to multiple devices and it delivers flawlessly. I'd recommend.

Excellent product, reasonably intuitive design. Not necessarily for the un-initiated; I have 10 years of NAS/SAN experience, so I did not read any of the documentation, which is written in Pidgeon English, but the roughly 30 minutes of setup and 30 minutes of troubleshooting yielded an iSCSI NAS on the par with $30K NetApp filer.

Comment:
Have been using this system for over a month now and can't say enough about it. Easy to set up on a Windows network, and even easier to use. Only thing not noted is the limit of 3 RAIDS. Otherwise, excellent system!

I have used Thecus N5200B before and is quite happy with Thecus. Now need an upgrade and I looked into N7700. It is really the best buy for me. N7700 is build with top quality, the performace is excellent with plenty of space. Yet the price is incredibly affordable. A happy Thecus user here.
