This cage is properly built and ideal for turning 3 five.25" bays into three three.5" bays. Fit simply into my Antec case, and really should fit ANY pc that has screws to hold the 5.25" drives in. The slots slid appropriate over the lands for the person drives.I very reccomend. The fan contains a motherboard pin connector to report the speed, but it is powered by the Molex connector. None at all. Way less costly than obtaining three individual adapters.I put this in my Antec case that has 3 five.25" bays in the top for 3 more drives in my Windows Residence Server |

Blue LEDs, keeps my HDD's cool. must be for screwless instances since the screw holes dont match up with my case screw holes. Cant push it back any farther into the case contemplating my video cards big. would perform greater in a complete tower case im assuming |

Fantastic and basic remedy for cooling down 3 drives. Working with this for 3 scsi 15K drives. The wiring for the fan's molex is extremely fragile and not extremely conveniently placed. This my fourth iCage. I at the moment have three places in my Thermaltake Armor Situation. |

Its created of steel that has just that suitable balance of strength and low weight, and the fan moves a lot of air. would be good if there was a version powder coated black... I utilized it on a "Rosewill Wind Ryder RZLS142A" it looks wonderful and functions real effectively |

Functions with toolless style instances Price Bought to mount a second intake fan into my Thermaltake Armor case. The included fan had the very same specs as the stock case fans I was replacing, so I'm not utilizing it.Slid it in by way of the front and clipped it in place in all of 5 seconds. Really pleased with the basic installation. |

My case has a front cover that closed more than the front of the drive bays, and thus the fan as well. I was apprehesive about how effectively the iCage would support mainly because of this, but took the gamble. It paid off. Even with that front cover on, each tricky drive has dropped 10C ྲF). I also appreciate that the power connector input has a energy connector output attached also, so you don't lose any connections. There whould be a small conduit to enable the fan energy wires to safely reach the inside of your case. Rather they have to lay more than your upper difficult drive, or against one particular of the sharp edges of the iCage. Somebody talked about that the iCage takes up 4 drive bays. This is absolute nonsense! Absolutely nothing from the inner or outer sides of the iCase goes close to a 4th bay. |

Fits nicely - tends to make five.25" drive space helpful. Keeps drives cool. Fan quiet. A tiny better use of the space in the cage would be nice - could have gotten four drives rather of three but for the cost nevertheless a great deal! |

A excellent fit in my Thermaltake Armor case. Holds 3 three.five" difficult drives and includes a cool blue LED fan. Not a great match for the fan of the stock cage - the grill is a bit diverse but you don't notice it too considerably behind the black foam inserts of the Thermaltake circumstances. Made of a unique metal than the stock situation's. Effortless to use, nice cooling, LED fan (if you care) Only converts three five.25" drive spaces to three three.5" drive spaces. Other converters get four or five into the very same space. Having said that, it is a good cage and I have purchased various of them over the denser ones for thermal reasons. I took away one egg for density causes, but I have bought a denser unit ƕ drives in three spaces) and had thermal troubles so I am sticking with these. YMMV |

Decent Fan, it glows. It fit!! <-- That's the finest portion! Sort of awkword to get the skrews into it. The cage that came with my case is of polished aluminum, this a single isnt polished at all, just has that dull primer appear. Since it cant be observed from the case that's not significantly of an concern. |

Does what it is supposed to do. Has 3 3.5" bays and a 120mm fan. Perhaps some versatility so it could hold maybe 4 drives as opposed to three. I would think about that could get hot although. I have a full tower thermaltake case, and it came with one of these cages and one drawer. I added this cage mainly for the air flow and the future addition of yet another drive. I like it. |

Good does the job, ARRG that fan and these blue lights. Fan has been shelfed like the ones from the Armor case. All so i cut out the metal components that cease the air flow passing though to the rest of the case Wish the original was alloy too. Thermaltake are nevertheless not replying to me about the case situation's i am having in how the cards are like 4-5mm short of getting fitted in correct. |

Much better than expected, very good CFM, quiet and no difficulty installing. Looks to be of very good high quality. None Had a tiny difficulty with heat on my home built Pc core 2 Duo E8500, but with this fan and a further PCI exhaust fan (Rosewill RFX-100b 90mm) I lowered cpu temps by 5c. Make sure you have 3 empty 5.25 bays.Five Eggs for Newegg, all my elements for new Pc by way of them with no complications. |

open style will allow for superior air movement, the fan is ok at greatest though it is a quite blue led lit 1, anything is a nice fit, affordable compared to the others i've observed about. it is not hotswap compatible, the wire connector to the fan is only the larger 4 prong compatible type (i had to solder the red and black wire into the smaller four prong fan connecter that currently yeilded the yellow control wire in order to hook it to my fan controller) i suppose i could have bought another adapter for this but who wants all the additional wires dangling all more than! although i have not run this incredibly extended, compared with the other ones i've noticed the only downside to this a single is its not hotswapable, but the other ones ive seen present a much more closed design with much less air movement, which is Poor, and the other people are quite expesive! some of the other ones are even 3x5.25baysɰx3.5bays, which is genuinely squeezing them in tight and causes even much less air movement and greater temps. this is the very best bang for the buck if you ran out of drive slots. |

does precisely what it is supposed to. holds 3 drives securely in location. fits into a non thermaltake case with out any difficulty or mods. good value. no rubber grommets to isolate vibration. the cage doesn't hold the drives flush up against the fan in front and so they stick out a bit past the drive bay. had a challenging time installing due to interference with the cpu heatsink. got it all together, but can't take away a drive from it without having removing the cpu heatsink. |

* Quiet fan* Really low-cost* Added fan wire for rpm monitoring* Just works * No rubber grommets* Fan has limited effectiveness (no air intake)* Some competing items accomodate 4 harddisks (this a single homes three)Given the value, these are simply forgiven. I in fact like the reality this is a three-in-3 enclosure. Leaves a little additional room in among the harddrives. For a 4-in-three with front air intake, take into account the Lian-Li EX-34. |

Excellent use for 3 empty 5.25 drive bays. Fits excellent. Fan is super quiet. Best for three drive raid5 setups. Drives stay cool and happy always. Directions don't clarify the single small yellow wire. It's just a sensor wire if your mobo has a "CHAS FAN" connector. Fan runs a bit slow -- mine reports about 1400 RPM, but the air behind the drives stays cool. I think ม is a bit pricey, but the fan does seem to be high quality. I've had a single of these on my household file server for a couple years. In no way a hiccup from my 500GB RAID5. Now I've got a 160GB RAID5 for my workstation so I bought one more. |

I have two of these operating for a year, they are quiet and dependable. maintain a number of drives cool i don't like the blue led's so i clipped the wires to them operates as advertized |
No noise from HD's at all, 120mm fan not only cools HD's but also your complete system by bringing in massive amounts of air when working with far better fans using three bays it should hold additional than 3 HD's, but thats just me. I have two of them in my Full size tower with more than 5Tb of HD space for video/picture editing in them, running 8Gb of DDR3 1600Mhz, on 790 Ultra board. If you have area in your situation (Full size towers only) buy two of them!!!
