looks stupid inside the case, you cant attach it direct to the drive unless you go buy longer screws, it doesnt mount like the picture does, the black side with the thermal tke lettering faces towards the drive. besides that it installs easy, quiet and dropped my temp by about 10 degrees

My hard drive was almost too hot to touch and after installing this cooler the hd is barely warm to the touch. You can't go wrong purchasing this product. Thanx for the great service.

nothing special, just a plastic shroud and a fan. but the price is good and the product is well made. it has extra mounting holes on the side of the shroud. the screws it comes with are too short. but all in all for the price you cant go wrong. great deal for a budget HDD cooler

not entirely impressed.It does do the job, I have 3 mounted over my 3 drives. they look great in the case and my hard drive reaches a max of 106 degrees during gaming, which is cooler than before, I do rather wish I had spent the extra money for a cooler with a heat sink as well. and maybe a little less bulky.

Biggest fan option that I could find to blow directly on a overheating drive bay. Dropped the temp of the 500GB by almost 10C (from 43C to 34C). Added air circulation to the top 5.25in bay areas. Hopefully that addresses my overheating DVDR problem as well.

This item is great, cheap and attractive. Not much more to say. Other than it keeps my hard drive about 15 degrees cooler.

This thing is very easy to install, does exactly what its supposed to do, and has a nice blue led light if you like that sort of thing, pretty quiet too.

These can't hurt, and if you are worried about overheating, then get one. The added air blowing directly on it has to help dissapate heat.

awesome cooler! keeps HDD very cool, and the blue lights are a nice touch, it conveniently matches everything else in my case. pass-through power plug is nice if you dont have many plugs available. this also is not very loud at all. hope you buy, its worth the money.

2 Week owner: Does exactly what it says. 15 DegF. Drop on both my hard drives. Occupies a FULL 3.5'' bay below the HD to be cooled. Plugs into 4-pin power and has nice ''pass-thru'' plug so you don't tie up any additional plugs. Does NOT have connection to motherboard for speed monitoring or control. Fairly quiet, moves a lot of air. I'll buy another soon for my ''other's'' computer...

A very good product. It keeps my hard drive very cool when I run intense hard drive programs. Make sure you don't have a tool less case. My case uses built in rails so i had to litteraly tape mine onto the rails.
