Hard to put on but worth every penny
Comment:
Had a few issues putting this cooler on but once it's on it works much better than my old x-wind aluminum heat sink. Great product for not much money |

Perfect!
Comment:
This fan installed easily, looks great adn I can'e even hrear it running! My fault, I hooked it up on the wrong fan header but after correcting the problem I became totally satisfied. As an added bonus, it came witha case sticker for that little extra |

Very quiet
Comment:
It runs at 1412rpm and keeps my 9750(overclocked at 2.6gh) between 30 and 50 degrees Celsius. I am sure I wont be able to get better results even with a more expensive unit. You can barely hear the fan. Its totally worth every penny. |

Outstanding unit
Comment:
I'm not a really tech savy guy but I get along OK. This cooler is great. It seems to move a lot of air but yet is very quiet. Unit comes with paste already apllied to bottom. I made the mistake of buying a big volume moving fan once without looking at the Db rating on noise. |

Only took 2
Comment:
Fan came as a kit component . Started computer for first burn and thought i had wires in the fan. Ran for 3 days while i waited for a replacement and was somewhat quieter when i took it outMust have been a flat spot on the bearing . The replacement is running well. |

Simple , effective cooling
Comment:
Simple solution for simple cooling. Quiet fan with decent performance. Lapping job on cpu contact surface was subpar and less than expected. Visible grooves and roughened surface. A bit of lapping with high grit sandpaper fixed this but a cooler with good contact should always have a mirrored surface free of imperfections |

Worst ever!
Comment:
I needed a warranty replacement for this. Sent whole unit back. They sent a fan only. Called and complained. They sent a heat sink only. No lever, nothing. DO NOT BUY! |

wish it worked better
Comment:
Perhaps I recieved a defective product, however The fan would rattle. Also I would recommend to add a better compound before mounting. |

awome

got this fan for my first gaming comp and it's awesome, quiet and keeps my CPU nice a cool and for the price its worth it, only down side was hard to get it in the socket because of its large base |

Love it
Comment:
it's a little big but i have a micro ATX board so it doesnt have much rooom. keeps my AMD Athlon 3700 at 26C when it's fully loaded and about 15C when idle. if you dont have RAM or anything else within about half inch from the cpu it should fit well. other than that i love it |

Great fan-heatsink for price
Comment:
I bought this when it was 20.00 and I see it's now 11.00. You can't beat that price for the quality. My quad core CPU has never overheated using this. Other than the fact it's a little loud at the higher rpms I've had no problems in the year I've used it. |

Cheap and gets the job done
Comment:
If you are looking for a cheap fan that gets the job done, then this is it. Quiet and efficient. Only problem is my motherboard can't tell that a CPU fan is hooked up, so whenever I startup my computer the alarm goes off until I can get into Windows and turn it off using ABIT EQ (old Abit motherboard). |

The Phenom 4 quad core never gets above 42C. Silent, easy to install. |

Great-for a while
Comment:
After 6 months of use, it started producing an awful racket and even shut down once. I'll never buy another Thermaltake and will upgrade now. |

Amazing CPU fan for a bargain!
Comment:
There is no competition, this fan is just amazing. GREAT airflow, pretty quiet and just works. And for it's price, there is no additional argument. I'm especially happy with this item because I was building a PC to use as an HTPC. The last thing I want is something loud and annoying. This fan is surprisingly very quiet. Though it's the loudest fan in my case, I'm still very happy with it. |

Beware of this fan heat sink combo
Comment:
After only a few months this fan heat sink combo began to make a hideous, unbearable and totally unacceptable high pitched continuous ringing whine. It is so loud and so annoying that until replaced, the computer will not be in use. Other than the apparent defective fan I got, this fan is designed so that it is really easy to get stray cables caught in it. |

great product
Comment:
Bought this to use on a rebuild I was doing with a new motherboard and dual core AMD chip. Works great. Bios shows chip temp running cool as a cucumber. |
I installed this fan on my AMD Athlon 64 CPU and I'd say that it isn't too bad of a fan. It's quieter than the one I had on my previous system, anyway. The only problem that I had with it was that it was a bit difficult to see around it well enough to keep the PC wiring out of the way, but the fan itself performed well after installation.
