Quiet Fan
Comment:
Replaced an older fan that was very loud. This one installed easier than the old one and it runs whisper quiet while still moving a lot of air. The pre-applied thermal paste was unexpected and very helpful. |

Wonderful product, 5 out of 5 stars!
Comment:
Thermaltake has got me sold for life! exactly as advertised, excellent cooling, quality! keeps my CPU at 83F (28C) at 2.7 Ghz ON FULL LOAD!. also the fan is very quite and high quality! I do plan to overclock and have no doubts this cooling system will be fine for a 3.3 GHz clock! 5 respectful stars from me! I recommend this cooling system to any gaming build PC! Running on a Zotac Micro ATX with Nvidia 8100 chipset, AMD athon x2 CPU and EVGA GeForce 9500GT PCIe 2.0 graphics card and 550 Watt PSU. Excellent product! |

Does not reduce temps
Comment:
Fits on socket 3 AMD Athlon x2. It did not reduce temps compared to stock heatsink (and can't be expected at that price), but it is better. Clears heat faster, quieter. I would recommend just staying with stock heatsink though. Perfect fan to buy if your CPU doesn't come with a fan. However, I imagine I will upgrade to a decent heatsink in order to stay out of the 60Cs while gaming. |

How quiet can it be
Comment:
This fan is so much quieter than the original fan. I never noticed how loud the old one was until I installed this one. |

Simple fan gets the job done
Comment:
I have used Thermaltake fans for years on AMD procs. This one installs easily, is quiet, and keeps the proc cool under normal clock. I do not plan to overclock, so I do not know if it is up to task. However, I've had no issues at all with normal use. |

Good product that does adequate cooling
Comment:
The fans in my new barebones PC sound like an A 380 jet taking off so I suppose they're cooling sufficiently. |

don't get that white stuff on the hands.
Comment:
Building my own computer finally and this came with the bundle I purchased. Don't get the adhesive on your hands. Hard to get off. Works great, tight fit (which is always good). I don't know if it's loud though, i have a 450watt power supply, a case fan in an atx on the acrylic side, and this, so I'm trying to figure out what's making the 'wind tunnel noise' It's not a loose buzzing fan, but actual wind I can hear. I don't believe it's this though. I bleieve it's the case fan. PC barely pushes any warm air out and it's in the end of november in NY, so this thing is definitely doing it's job well. |

Excllent fan and easy to install
Comment:
No problems installing this. I think it took me 60 seconds. Nice that the goop was pre-applied. Very quiet fan and much better than the stock fan that came with this system. |

Not a bad deal, but...
Comment:
Got this to go with a kit from Tiger. Anyhow, it is a well-built fan, but my only gripe is that there were zero directions included with it, and although I got it mounted, it would have been nice to have directions for reference. |
This CPU cooling heatsink and fan is the best. Yes it is sort of big but it makes your Case looks nice; like you have a super processor or something. It does the job and cools very nice. It brought my CPU head down and also my temp for the case. I couldn't be any more happy.
