Ok Fan
Comment:
Not the cheapest fan but not the most expensive either. It does what it says it will. The only issue I had in building my new pc is that the fan is fairly open and twice wires got in the way and stopped the fan |

Great, Quiet
Comment:
Great fan, went right in, good fit, super quiet. It keeps it cool, even when my room is scorching and my power supply is louder. |

5 Stars but Please Read
Comment:
In case they never bother to put this on the specs. The cooler isn't rated for the 9750 X4. It says very clearly on the box only for athlon 64,FX,X2, and semprons. Unfortunately it doesn't say that anywhere on Tiger. It's working fine on mine with good thermal grease and extra fans, but if I would have known what it was rated for, I would have ordered a higher end one! C'mon Tiger! You're better than this! |

Price and Performance
Comment:
Bought a bare bones kit and bought this to go along with it mainly because it was cheap. Keeps my AMD X2 cool and is Very Quiet. I'll buy this again for my next machine... |

Wrong plug
Comment:
Wrong plug for my motherboard. Fan has a 2 pin plug, but my MB wants a 3 pin. Besides this, fan is quiet. Seems good so far. Should last a while. |

not bad works great
Comment:
My old fan died, and I couldn't find a replacement fan so I had to buy the whole thing (heat sink and fan). It was easy to install and it solved my problem now we have to see how long it lasts. The old one lasted 3 yrs. the only two cons to this are I wish they would sell just a fan. And its on sale now for 9.99 and I paid $19.00 |

Excellent
Comment:
Does exactly what it is supposed to, fits on snugly. Price can't be beat. I have installed about 20 of these in the past few months, not a single problem. |

Whisper Quiet
Comment:
Exceeded expectations. Bought this not knowing that the CPU already had a fan with it. Glad I did... moves tons of air and I can't hear it run. |

An outstanding value!
Comment:
My 5 star ratings take into consideration the low price. Of course this doesn't have the cooling performance of a unit that costs 10 times as much. It is a good basic cooler, and very quiet. If you don't do radical overclocking, this is all the cooler you need. It's a nice upgrade or replacement for the AMD fan that comes with the retail cpu's. I'm impressed with the quality at this price! |

Good deal but fan won't start by itself
Comment:
On installation, the fan worked great, however the next day, after shutting down and restarting the computer the fan did not spin, causing the computer to shut down due to overheating. I have changed MB settings to no avail. I can start it by spinning it with my finger but it doesn't change speeds like it did right after installation. Unfortunately I threw away the box before I found out about the problem so am unable to return it for exchange. |

Good Fan
Comment:
The fan seemed to be well constructed. Mounting was easy and fan ran very quietly. Having the grease pre-applied is a great feature. |

Tough To Mount - Be Careful
Comment:
I bought this product and had to return it because I couldn't mount it. I originally bought a Coolmaster Hyper 48 (which went belly up after only 2.5 years). The TR2 does NOT come with any PC board mounting hardware. Unfortunately it had no documentation either so I am assuming that it is intended to mount on existing pc mount hardware. In this case, the hold down springs lined up with the Coolmaster base (which screws to the motherboard) but the TR2's base was about 1/8'' too wide and would not fit. Accordingly the heatsink didn't even touch the cpu (so it didn't realy matter that you couldn't fasten it. I must admit that I was not only mad but disappointed as teh TR2 looks like a nice product. I am going to pursue this with Coolmaster and if I find out anything different, I will revise/amend this review. |

Was better than I had expected. Runs quiet and was easy to install. Even came with a small amount of gel on it so I did not have to buy any. |

ok for dual core, hot on quad core
Comment:
This is a good entry level cooler, good for a dual core but go a little higher end on a quad. I used on a AMD9750 quad and without overclocking I was running at 58-61c under gaming or multitasking load, the 9750 has a max temp recommended for load of 65 so Too close for my comfort. I am overclocking so going liquid instead. I am sure a dual core would be fine, but if you are spending $150+ on a cpu spend at lease $30-50 on a cooler. |

Wow its big.
Comment:
This is a vary big heat sink and fan,i have it on a XFX 8200MB with a 6000AMD x2, Keeps it cool runs alot hotter than my old slow 478 P4, but from what i read, about 130F is a good temp(Under load) idle i get about 111F But its wegged in between my Chipset Heat sink, and my SLI Ram..had to bend a few on the heat sink things for the chipset, so the CPU heat sink would not be sitting no it. comes with past. |

As I expected
Comment:
Went in easy, no problems. It runs real quiet and the price point was very good for its performance. I put Thermaltake in most of my computers. Never had issues with their products yet and it's been almost 6 years since I started building. |

Broken on arrival
Comment:
Received quickly but there was something rattling around inside of the plastic fan housing. It works with the piece in there but it makes the fan stop sometimes. |

Great Product
Comment:
I like my coolers huge. The bigger the better to keep things cool and quiet and this baby does both. I've used this cooler on 8 builds so far and will keep using it as long as it's around. I hate noisy fans, and this one is just but a whisper and you can't beat the price. A super buy. |
Good bargin but a little to noisy
