Great fan for single core processors. despite stated specs, it will spin at 1500 and very easy to install. Lever to clamp it down is metal not plastic (another plus). It is so quiet you would think your pc is off! Kept my single core amd proc and mobo frigid cool... However, when I upgraded to dual core the fan would keep cool except when playing MMORPG's

I've used this fan in over 30 systems I've built and have never had a performance or cooling problem... EVER! For the money, this is the best cooling fan I've ever use... bar none!

I've used several of these fans in the assembly of systems. They aren't too loud and do a very good job of keep the CPU temperature under control.

This fan runs very quietly and does it's job. It comes with thermal gel pre-installed, which is nice, as I never remember to order any, and usually find myself running to a retailer with my computer in pieces mid-upgrade.

This thing cools my overclocked amd 6000+ perfectly fine. ive had it for 6 months, and wanted to wait before leaving feedback. it has what is needed to cool a processor, without fancy bells and whistles. doesnt seem to take dust on as readily as my last fan. cleaned it once in 6 months, looks brand new. Again, I ask you, why pay more when this fan is excellent?

Recently did three computer upgrades, all with AMD Socket AM2/AM3 MoBo and CPU. One came without a fan, got this for it. The other two came with AMD Fan/Sink bundle that are required by AMD or warranty is void. This is a much better CPU Cooler than those that come with AMD's bundles. Too bad, as I'd prefer to have this one in place of those required by AMD.

OK, i needed a fan other than the one they ship with the CPU. But, since this was a PC i was building and going to have to ship, needed one not as HUGE as the ones I use. This was perfect. It is basically a nice oversized CPU cooler. Not fancy, but, it is on a Quad core AMD, keeps it around 35-37c, which to me is JUST fine for a PC that wont be pushed or overclocked. IF you are wanting a simple upgrade, this is JUST the cheap ticket. IF you have real heat issues, there are far to many choices to go thru. This is light, simple, and does just what I need for only a few $$$

I'm running an AMD Athlon X2 @ 2.6 GHz. This thing keeps it idling at 26 degrees Celsius. Couldn't ask for a better product or a better deal!

This is the second of these fans I've purchased. My first is over two years old and still going strong. This one shows the promise of doing the same. Together with quieter power supplies I now have the quietest PC's I've ever owned.
