Thermaltake Black LANBOX Lite VF6000BNS Micro ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
Cons: Fingerprints

Pros: Easy to open and use
Comment:
Great case looks great. Motherboard tray slides out for easy assembly. Enough space to mount multiple hard drives. On the expensive side for smaller cases but not many as portable and still support multiple video cards.

Best case ever, so it is being discontinued!
Comment:
Yep. We've used hundreds of this case in our business. Love it and so does everyone else. It only makes sense to immediately discontinue any product that people like.

Nice little box
Comment:
I bought this for a workstation build. It is a good little case. Installation of mobo was a little tricky in that each section (optical drive bay, hard drive bay, power supply, etc) sort of stacks upon each other for assembly. They somewhat easy to remove, so it wasn't too bad EXCEPT: 1) hard drives are mounted perpendicular to the mobo. Thus inserting SATA cords are tricky. I would be upset if I used PATA. 2) sides do not come off. If you have to hook some things up (like mobo power connections) with the motherboard tray insterted, it is difficult. The fixed sides make the case sturdy, but not convenient to work on. Otherwise, fit and finish are high. Glossy black exterior is a magnent for fingerprints. Happy with purchase.

Gorgeous case, tight fitting
Comment:
Works for my configuration. Micro ATX board, stock AMD CPU cooling, 1 extra long 9800 GTX video card, 1 hard drive and 1 DVD drive. There are two cons for this board, 1. When fitting the extra long video card, the secondary hard drive case has to go. 2. Case mounting could use some damping to reduce hard drive noise. Case construction is excellent, good thick gauge steel frame. Tool less case construction is a breeze to put things together. USB port on the side of case is a little flimsy so use extra care to push USB connectors in is a must.

Best case i've ever owned
Comment:
Though it is a little small, it has enough room for your needs. It looks beautiful and it takes up less room than your average case although it is a little bigger than I was expecting.

Thermaltake Black LANBOX Lite VF6000BNS Micro ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
Cons:The air flow is not horrible but It could be better. Chose your cpu cooler wisely because there is not too much room. I use the Gemin II s ( if you use that cooler you might need to remove the 2 exhaust fan at the back). about 100mm space between mobo and psu.

Pros:Fully modular chassis, Front ports ( make sure your matx supports on board firewire), Good cooling system, Thumbscrews everywhere. Face plate for optical drives.
Comment:
I mod the case a little to add some cooling. If you remove the hdd cage and put your hard drive in the 3.5 near the optical drives, the airflow is greatly improve.

Comment:
I am glad I bought this case. You can tell it was well built and it is very sturdy. The engineers behind this case put a lot of thought in to the design. No real complaints with this, it is a nice mATX case and It is very beautiful and professional looking.

Thermaltake Black LANBOX Lite VF6000BNS Micro ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
Cons:the removable motherboard tray is formed wrong or something so i had to bend it back or else any card you put in the board would be pulled out if you screw it to the tray

Pros:nice case, lots of room
Comment:
good case plenty of room besides the removable tray being bent out forcing pci/pci-e cars outa the board when screwed in(i bent it back in forcing the cards into there slots) in the end its a good little case for a little pc

Thermaltake Black LANBOX Lite VF6000BNS Micro ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
Comment:
This is a fantastic product! There was a LOT of thought and planning that went into this design. I needed a nice looking case to put with the rest of my entertainment equipment and I couldn't be happier with this one. Every part of this case is well designed and every component fits like a glove. It is a little tight but not ridiculous. I would not recommend the clear sided version, the all black looks great. Mine has a very respectable finish, no orange peel as others have mentioned. The three included fans do a good job on air movement, I don't see a need for more. The only slight complaint is that the drive bay door does slightly catch upon closing, may need to do a mild mod on this. Great product and very reasonable price.

Thermaltake Black LANBOX Lite VF6000BNS Micro ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
Comment:
I just got this thing. It is nice. No joke. I love it. Yes it has a orange peal to it. I detail cars and I can see it. But its not a big deal! you can only see it if you are right on top of it. It was a little bigger than I thought but dont let that stop you from getting this case. It has 3 fans, 2 in the back, 1 big fan in the front. One of the nice things about this case is the front USB ports. I always hate it when you get a case and you got 4 or more plug for usb. It's all one plug! The case comes with more than what you need to install your mobo and other hardware. It was a good buy and my wife and I love it! I have a video on youtube if you want to have a look. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jg3yR5GEBEI

Thermaltake Black LANBOX Lite VF6000BNS Micro ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
Comment:
I just bought this case for my first build. I don't know what that guy's talking about 'orange peal' texture; the finish is sweet and smooth. Couldn't be a nicer looking computer out there, and so far it performs like a champ. I'll have to get a couple extra case fans cause I can see heating becoming an issue once i expand and put more inside it but it comes with 3 fans! More than enough to start with. It is cramped inside but it all fits if you know what you're doing although I would say that's one huge reason NOT to get the one with the clear window on the side. Oh yeah, I'm sure you want to stare at the knot of cables jammed inside. Also, the 5.25 bays will stick if your DVD drive doesn't have a slim profile. On mine, the drive's front is a little too big so the bay door doesn't close all the way ,and when I close the drive I have to hold open the bay door or it'll catch. Simple enough to get around and I'm just going to buy a slimmer drive. Overall though a sweet case.

Thermaltake Black LANBOX Lite VF6000BNS Micro ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
Comment:
Well, it seems to be a fairly strong case. I would reccomend using a modular power supply as its cramped inside. The popdown doors for the optical drives are quirky. They stick sometimes. I was dissapointed in that the ''Piano finish'' had an orange-peel texture all over. Reminds me of a black eggshell. I expected higher quality for the price. Overall it is still a nice case.

Thermaltake Black LANBOX Lite VF6000BNS Micro ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
Cons:Nothing

Pros:SmallModularLooks good with other A/V equipmentPrice
Comment:
I did research on HTPC cases for a month before making this purchase...dimensions of each case, pros, cons, and numerous reviews. After all that, the deciding factor of my purchase was because my fiance thought it looked the best (compared to Thermaltake's Bach, Mozart, Tenor and even Silverstone's LaScala). It fits perfectly in the living room under the TV, along with the other A/V equipment. Fans are very quiet, and sometimes I have to get close to it to make sure they're working. Only minor complaint I have about it is the blue power LED is extremely bright. It's distracting specially when watching in the dark. But that's more of a preference (the lady likes the bright blue LED). For those like me that's been looking hard to find out how high of a cpu cooler/fan you can put in this thing (assuming you have a standard size power supply), max height is 100mm.

Absolute beautiful case the piano finish made my new HDTV look kinda plain. Wires for pwr sw/hd led and etc are plenty long enough too hook up just fine. The book that comes with it is a bit confusing but just dig right in there and ya will have no worries. Seems to be a extreamly sturdy case not like this one will ever take a good beating though. A MATX is a tight fit but it fit perfect. I've not even powered it up yet and I'm very pleased with it. Thanks TigerDirect.

Wow what a great little case for your cube system!Everything inside comes apart easily so you can install all your components. The case looks really cool and comes with 2 mini fans (60mm I believe)Bigger then I expected but its still a cube, and it is cute as hell :PEasiest to use cube case I've had, and most solid. Also, the price is right!
