Thermaltake CL-P0310 120mm CPU Cooling Fan - Retail
Cons:Can be a pain to installQuite bulky
Pros:Keeps processor very coolQuiet Comment:
This heat sink fan is hands down, amazing. Aside from the fact that it was a pain to get installed due to the fact I have large hands, it does exactly what it is meant to, keeping the processor cool.Prior to installing it my e6600 was running around 44C under a low/moderate load, and between 50-54C at a high load. After putting this in I have not gone above 34C on a heavy load (2 World of Warcraft games running simultaneously, Azureus open with multiples downloads, and even a DVD running). I have not done any OC'ing yet, however I know I am well set for when I do.Fits nicely in my Thermaltake Tsunami Dream case. |

Thermaltake CL-P0310 120mm CPU Cooling Fan - Retail
Cons:may not fit in some cases
Pros:KEeps Everything Amazingly coolfan Controller! Comment:
Ultimate Cooler IMO, Overlcocked my AMD 3700 to 2.8, with stock cooling it would reach 100C!!!, with this baby, Doesnt reach 50... if thats not impressive i dont know wht is. only drawback i can see is, when using things near this massive thing, such as the 12 V cable from the power supple, any fan inputs, and ram, It is hard to access with the Typhoon in the way. I recommended geting all the parts u need b4 getting this baby, to give u less of a hassle later on. All in all I love this product, Beat s out ugly water cooling :P |
A fairly good cooler. The upgrade from the regular Big Typhoon is minimal and not worth it if you're upgrading. The price is one of the downside with this cooler. There is definitely just as good for a lower price. Just search around.
