Thermaltake Massive23 ST 23cm fan Notebook Cooler Model CLN0009
Cons:Air flow is not as strong as I expected. LED is mostly hidden under the laptop, nice but can't really see it.
Pros:Quiet. Convince with the USB power cable. |

Thermaltake Massive23 ST 23cm fan Notebook Cooler Model CLN0009
Cons:could use more juice and move more air
Pros:lightweight, quiet, blue LED is cool looking, USB powered, inexpensive Comment:
Cooler is great for its price, nice angle - no wrist problems here, almost too small for my laptop(17 inch) but still moves the air and is nice and quiet. The LED is pointless tho, can't see it underneath a laptop :S |

Thermaltake Massive23 ST 23cm fan Notebook Cooler Model CLN0009
Cons:
-Doesn't push as much air as I would've liked-Can't really notice the LED when a laptop is placed on it-barely fits a 17" laptop
Pros: -Quiet-Light-Blue LED is cool-USB powered-cheap (price matched) Comment:
This cooler is great for me because I wanted my laptop to run a few degrees cooler without having the loudness of a notebook cooler. The cooler itself is pretty stylish and doesn't look cheap. Its flexes a bit tho but it shouldn't be a problem even for the heaviest laptops. I'm guessing they had to let it flex since the material it is made out of is very light. It's also USB powered which is great for me but this means the fan won't spin as fast as you would like it to. But the trade off is that its quieter so I can't complain. Great cooler for those who want that extra bit of cooling without breaking the bank. |

Thermaltake Massive23 ST 23cm fan Notebook Cooler Model CLN0009
Cons:
lights are useless and annoying to see, I would rather see more power going to the fan.
Pros: large cooler, large fan Comment:
The fan on this cooler is large but the amount of air that it moves is pitiful. I've tested this on 3 different laptops and compared it with a smaller cooler. When using this cooler, I can't tell that its actually cooling my laptop, whereas my smaller cooler actually makes the laptops feel cool to the touch. The problem with this cooler is that the motor is not powerful enough for the size of its fan. Since it uses the same 5v usb that a smaller fan uses, it doesn't blow the air fast enough to push it through the laptop. A smaller fan would spin faster and the air that it moves flows fast enough to get inside. |

Thermaltake Massive23 ST 23cm fan Notebook Cooler Model CLN0009
Cons:
If the fan was powered via wall outlet, this thing would move a bum-ton of air. (but would be louder)
Pros: -Not heavy-Looks cool-Nice big fan-Quiet Comment:
I haven't done any real comparison in average temperatures with and without, But I noticed the laptop exhaust was not quite as hot with this underneath. I generally use this while gaming, however due to the nice shape of the cooler, Its nice to just have under the laptop for enhanced viewing angle. The Fan underneath seems pretty generic and easily replaceable. I haven't opened up the little power housing but it wouldn't surprise me if it where connected via molex!.. Otherwise some simple re-wiring would be easy enough.I heard people talk about this being made of cheap plastic or something of that nature.. Some of this product is plastic however it feels solid and still remains very light.. You wont break this easily i dont imagine. |

Thermaltake Massive23 ST 23cm fan Notebook Cooler Model CLN0009
Cons:- cheap plastic- only centre part is metals... you need to always turn on the fan for cooling
Pros:- light weight- quiet- plug & play Comment:
Got my last week with the sales it's only $15 + taxes... good deal. It look abit cheap due to the plastic and you need to turn on the fan all the times for cooling since only the centre part is metals, the rest are plastic. Not good passive cooling but good when the fans are on.It's light weight and quiet, so it's good for people travel with it. |

Thermaltake Massive23 ST 23cm fan Notebook Cooler Model CLN0009
Cons:I wish the metal mesh on the top extended out further to the outer edges.
Pros:So quiet you don't even know it's on.Light and easy to carry. Comment:
I had this price matched and so I got a good deal. I'm happy with it. It does a nice job of cooling.I own a 15" laptop and just fits. So if you own a 17" laptop it would hang over the sides. I offset my laptop on the cooler since my intake fan on the bottom is on the underside on the far left, then it exhausts on the side of the laptop. So with the solid plastic on the cooler I have to move my laptop over a bit so that my laptop intake fan is more over the cooler fan.The cooler blows air up towards the laptop, and you can feel the breeze. It's nice you can't even hear it even though it moves so much air, you have to look at it to even know it's on.There is an on off switch, but the LED does not turn off. The on off switch turns the whole thing off. Although you don't even notice the blue glow when you are working, you'd have to be in complete darkness. I find when I'm on battery that it shortens my battery life a fair bit. But I don't go on battery very often. |

Thermaltake Massive23 ST 23cm fan Notebook Cooler Model CLN0009
Cons:Not metal throughoutSeems like it might not be too sturdy
Pros:LightBig honking fanCool lighting Comment:
Bought this for a friend. Pricematched it down to something like 30 dollars, which made it much more appealing. When plugged in, the fan certainly drops the temperature of his laptop by a few degrees, and isn't loud enough to be annoying. He was having issues with his computer overheating while gaming, which seem to have gone away with this cooler, so it's doing what it was meant to do. |
First impression when I turn it on, blue LED looks nice and cool. But after I put my laptop on, I can't see it myself. The fan is quiet. My laptop's fan is lot louder so I don't notice this cooler fan was on at all.Air flow is not as strong as I thought, but... I have to admit, this cooler does do the job. My laptop is well know, over heat all the time because of poor heat ventilation design. But after I use this, my laptop hasn't reboot once (touch wood...). Temperature drop about 15C most of the time. Not perfect solution. But really helps.
