Thermaltake Silver River 5G 2.5IN SATA3 Aluminum HDD External Hard Drive Enclosure USB3.0
Cons:-USB 3.0 cable is tiny bit short, for 2.5" it doesn't need to be long anyways.
Pros:-Brushed metal finish-Includes little magnetized screwdriver (nice touch), as well as padded carrying pouch-Works without the power cable using USB 3.0 or 2.0, you'll really never need it. -Light/small-Supports SATA III. |

Thermaltake Silver River 5G 2.5IN SATA3 Aluminum HDD External Hard Drive Enclosure USB3.0
Cons:Fingerprint magnetPlastic endsExcessive labeling
Pros:USB 3.0 - fastBeautiful brushed aluminum Comment:
Aside from the somewhat excessive amount of labels on the enclosure by Thermaltake, it's well-built for the most part with its brushed aluminum finish. The plastic ends might be a cause for concern if it ends up falling though. I was able to put in an Agility SSD for everyday usage without problems. |
Glad I didn't get one of the other enclosures I was looking at because this one is probably as close to perfect as I would want anyways. Note that the power cable is USB powered, which is strange as you'll never have to use it, you get power from one port anyways.
