Worth the effort
Comment:
So yeah, it's a bit nerve racking gettin it seated to the MB, but once it was all together, I was glad I did it. It's great looking, works perfectly, and is super quiet. Actually just installed one in my friend's new build. Second time installation was much easier knowing what to expect.

Nice Lines Better Performance
Comment:
I read the reviews before I bought it and was a bit leery of the installation issues, but I'm a fairly exerienced hand at build so I was not deterred. Let me tell you I' quite pleased I wasn't. It's true the mounting process was a bit tricksome as it seemed less secure than I like, that coupled with its beefy demensions were a bit scary. I thought I'd have to shoe horn this puppy in when I first saw it. Once in and on with the cool blue lights and and gleeeming chrome it makes you think of a turbo charger on a muscle car. Pros - very cool look, superb heat reduction, speed control rheostat, and very quite oppertion Cons - sizewise it's a monster, be cautious of motherboard and case arhitecture. Overall very nice!!

Upgraded from factory cooling on my 2.3 GHz AMD cpu. idled around 120F with factory cooling, now 100F even, running prime 95 as we speak, all four cores 100% load, 116F. Very happy with the product.

overall- good buy
Comment:
this product is great. was going to order it on here but couldnt wait. gave 4out of 5 in features due to size of product and has only a fan speed aduster. keeps my core temp at 21C and main temp 32C. over all great buy for the cost.

Didn't cut the mustard
Comment:
I tried this unit for a while. It was difficult to seat into the mother board. my temperature was 45-60 idle and when loaded it went to high to keep my computer on. Got another type of heat sink that works very well.

Monster Heatsink
Comment:
This thing is HUGE, so be wary of your mobo as my dual ati xfx 5770 barely cleared it (mm away) from this cooler. Also make sure your case has the depth to hold this badboy. Mounting kits are kinda confusing.... comes with thermal paste which was nice. Does look very cool installed and this does have an awesome blue led lighted fan inside. Keeps my overclocked i5 750 cooled nicely and prolly much better than its stock heatsink. I would only buy this if your case has a window to show it off, otherwise I would pass.

Thermaltake SpinQ Heat Sink & Fan
Cons:- fan controller cable is short- cheap plastic fasteners for the heatsink to the board

Pros:- Looks slick (good)- easy to install
Comment:
i7 930 (stock), the system idle's at about 34C,and running at about 39-41C.I guess this is normal.

Got issues with mounting
Comment:
This does look cool, but I couldn't get it to seat securely enough. When I pressed it with my hand the cpu temp would drop 1c so I knew it wasn't right, not to mention the cpu temp seemed to be getting too hot too fast. Someone mentioned a heat-sink mounting kit, maybe I'll give it a try. Did I mention I was terrrified of breaking something installing this monster (my first build). Anyways, I used Cooler master thermal compound with the stock i7 heat-sink and that seems to work pretty well, but it doesn't have the nice blue light or look totally cool.

Massive change
Comment:
I read the reviews on this before I bought it and I must say, I am very pleased with what I got. I checked the measurements from the pics before I bought this. It is a large fan. I have a full size cool master tower with the nvidia 260 graphics card. My 64bit intel chipset fan that came with my processor kept over heating. Spin Q fan is turned on high and I can't even hear it. Before I installed the Spin Q fan, my games kept chunking up and my system would randomly shut down (due to over heating). With this new CPU fan, I can now turn my graphics on high in Bad Company 2 and Star Trek online and everything plays smooth with zero issues.

Thermaltake SpinQ Heat Sink & Fan
Cons:Might cover up the left RAM slot on your motherboardThe heatsink clips seem kinda cheapNot as tight as i would have liked

Pros:Provides great coolingNot as tall as other heatsinksNice blue LED
Comment:
Used this on an overclocked Intel I5 750 g 3.8Ghz running 1.34 vcore. Temps under idle are 38 Celsius and under load in prime 95 or Linx they sit just under 60.All in all, its a great solution for your cooling but for the price, you could get something better...

Koolest fan you can get!
Comment:
Bought this with my first PC build. CPU temp dropped ten degrees from the standard heatsink and fan that came with processer. with the blue light, looks like a jet turbine inside my pc case! quiet, and puts out a lot of air! only issue was just a bit too large for my case. had to leave off the clear panel, but this helps for venting, so i don't mind. great buy!!!!

I picked up this CPU cooler the Thermaltake SpinQ CPU it dose do its job I am running a I7 CPU running on a EVGA X58 SLI LM Mobo with 2 Nvidia GTS 250 with 1gb of DDR 5 each the product dropped the average temp of the CPU by 10 degrees Celsius I now run at a cool 27 c rather the the 35 to 40 c. I know there are better coolers out there but I just loved all the chrome. I have this in a Cooler Master HAF 932 Full Tower Black Case. This case has the best air flow I have ever seen. So with the over clocking and extra Video cards I really thought I would have big heat problems but I don't I think the case has a bigger part in keeping the system cool but I just liked the look of the Thermaltake SpinQ it is quite and looks great but make sure you have the room for it to fit this monster in your case and make sure you have the room on the mother board to

This product works very well
Comment:
I used this product in a new build, for an Intel Core i7-920 2.66Ghz 8M LGA1366 CPU. This product works very well, CPU temp when gaming 32bit or 64bit operations stays well within the medium CPU operation range. Only one problem; take care when installing the fins are sharp, their was some blood letting. Over all this is a very good CPU cooler.

Comment:
I was very weary when first purchasing this CPU cooler. I had heard both good and bad things about it, however it performs great. Im running an AM3 socket with a AMD Phenom2 x4 black edition 3.4ghz (OC to 4.0ghz) and the load temp is a steady 38C.

last cpu cooler i will ever buy :P
Comment:
I was happy with my tt max orb as it has performed well for 8 mths with no hiccups but it was time for a new cooler that would be compatible with 775, and 1366 sockets, perform as it should, looked amazing, and ok price wise. This cooler is simply wicked and at nite! Installed without a hitch on my 790i ultra sli cooling a Q9650 3GHz overclocked 4.05GHz used Artic Silver 5 paste. TT you have done it again thank you! One shot boot, and stable, temps 35 degrees, peak 40 tops.
