its huge
Comment:
Take measurements before you buy. This is a great product though. It works very well and it is quiet. You need at least seven and a half inches of clearance above the processor for this one but if you have it this thing looks great.

Great product
Comment:
This thing is huge, seems to be working really good too. Once I saw it, I didn't think it would fit in my case, but it did and looks great too. Bought a few thermaltake products and haven't been disapointed yet!

Decent cpu cooler
Comment:
I purchased this for my amd phenom II 955Be. With no load you see about 25-28 celcuis. It's good cpu cooler for a regular computer user. But if your into gaming and oc your computer id say waste 50 more bucks and get water cooling system. Shipping arived in 3 days which was amazing.

Great Buy!
Comment:
I just picked up a Thermaltake Spin-Q for myself yesterday and I'd have to say that I couldn't be happier with this product. It only took a few minutes to screw on the brackets to attach it to my mobo (EVGA 780i) and the clips fit in nicely. It runs really quiet and keeps my Intel E8400 OC'd to 3.6ghz at a stable 45c with 50% load. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a quality CPU cooler for a reasonable price.

Worth the effort!
Comment:
I didn't cut myself with the fins like some have suggested, but I had a heck of a time getting it to stay attached to the motherboard! OTOH, once I figured it out, I couldn't be happier. It looks great, I can't hear it at all, and my CPU hasn't gone over 105F yet. That pretty much makes it perfect to me. You do need an 8

Cools CPU Great
Comment:
This is a great product it is massive and the Blue LED makes it even better. The only thing is when installing the massive CPU fan it has push pins to secure it to the board and the fan weighs a ton so it was a little tricky. Other than that it cools and looks great!

Great performing fan and looks great!
Comment:
The fan itself is a great buy. Agree with other reviewers that it is a little tough to get in. Once in, it sets off the mother board and makes a great centerpiece if you have a clear side panel. If you have an ASUS P6T motherboard, you will need to order an adapter to plug straight to the PSU. For some reason, the P6T does not register the SpinQ in BIOS and cannot control it. Easy adapter cure, got one for $5. The SpinQ is a sweet fan and does its job well.

Comment:
product is awsome, its a little tight on my 790i but made it work. i have my c2d 2.8 oc'd to roughly 4.2 an my cp stays nice and cool.easy to setup an but requires a little elbow grease to get secured, but all in all if you dont want to go to liquid, use this.GREAT PRODUCT!

This is a great CPU cooler, it's big but not ridiculously so, it looks AWESOME, and most importantly it keeps my core 2 duo overclocked to 3Ghz at 44 C

looks great and performs even better
Comment:
thus far this is probably the best cpu fan ever for a socket 775 board i have come across without going to water cooling and the way i see it water and electricity don't mix well keeps my 3.73 very very cool, even when in overclocking mode.31 degrees in a burn down test!

Make sure you have enough room for this fan.
Comment:
The fan works great! It cooled my CPU 5 to 15deg more than my stock coller. Stock coller was around 50deg, this coller keeps my CPU at 38 to 45deg. The only draw back is its size. It barely fit in my ULTRA MID TOWER case. If you want a confortable fit without the stress, I would sugest a full tower case to accomidate this fan.

Medium priced, but good performance
Comment:
For some reason, I couldn't get this to work on my P6T - the fan wouldn't draw power from the MB. So I ended up installing it in my home server which uses an Asus M2N68-AM SE2 board. I saw an average decrease of 10 degrees when running the fan on the slow setting, and about 14 degrees when the fan was on the higher setting. As an added bonus, this fan is much quieter than the stock AMD fan.

Running my Phenom II X4 940 @ 3.5Ghz temps 33 idle and 49-50 loaded. (10 deg. cooler then stock cooler @ 3.4Ghz) Fins are not as sharp as led on to, and looks awesome installed. It is bigger then I thought it would be but no prob in Thermaltake Element S case.

Cool Cooler
Comment:
Excellent craftsmanship, looks really cool and keeps the CPU cool. Running i7 920 with FSX stays between 54 and 59 degrees C otherwise 40 when unloaded at Summer temperatures. Attachment to MB with LGA1366 a bit difficult to achieve, especially with the bulk of the cylinderical fins, the push pins are hard work to engage I would use something like the Zalman ZM-CS4A clip support kit if doing it again, I still might do that there

Comment:
Running DKA790GX Platinum,Phenom4X9950,Radeon HD4870X2.Fan has droped temp from 51deg cel. to between 36-41deg.celsius.Motherboard temp has come down also. One thing though, make sure your case is at least 8" wide. The Thermaltake SpinQ takes up a lot of room. Also very quiet.

Great product.
Comment:
Keeps my i7 920 under 62 celsius at 100% load (using prime95) and under 50 celsius in Crysis, while overclocked to 3.6GHz. It's compatible with just about everything, so if you switch to watercooling or something you can just pop this cooler into another machine. It's got sharp edges and uses the push-pin clips, which I'm not a fan of, but once it's installed it really doesn't matter how it got put in.

good deal nice for a mod
Comment:
I bought the Spin Q to install on a AM2 socket it was extremely simple to install for this socket. The only downside is with my Nvidia 750 a board I had to install all of my ram first because the fan hangs over the first two slots. It looks cool but I wasnt completely impressed with its cooling ability Im running an amd 64 bit dual core 3.0 at factory settings and the fan can only keep it around 38 celsius.

Excellent Cooler
Comment:
Pros: Its from thermaltake. It fits every mobo socket out there, so even if your on a 775 mobo like me and upgrade to i7, this badboy will still work. Once installed, this thing just looks killer, and it works as good as it looks. Adjustable fan speed is nice but not really needed as its quiet at full speed. Very solid and well crafted Cons: The fins are SHARP. Like many have said these fins can and probably will knick your fingers during install. While the install was very simple, the push pin brackets for 775 can be a little tricky as they dont lock into place easily. Highly recommend installing this outside your case, do not attempt to install inside the case!! Overall: Once you get by the install hick ups, this is one bad boy of a cooler. Worth the money.

Nice Product
Comment:
I ordered the SpinQ because I new that I needed better cooling for my custom build. This monster does the trick. It maintains 28c at almost full load and 32c at max. Very quiet, but very sharp. Watch out for the fins!

Look Good in Antec 900 Case!
Comment:
It surprise me when I open the box. It came with thermal compound and a sticker to put on ur case. Really easy to install and have a fan control knob to set it low or high. Not really sure if it cools, because still working on the new comp, but it seems like it will. Thanks also for good shipping

Great CPU fan!
Comment:
I bought this CPU cooler on a whim because it got good reviews and looked cool...and it was worth every penny! im now running my Intel E8400 at 3.6 GHz instead of its original 3.0 GHz. the fan was a bit of a pain to install because of its size and its sides are SHARP; even so, its still a great CPU fan if you're willing to spend the money.

WTG Thermaltake
Comment:
This cooler works well. It is a great looking piece in my new computer and lowered the temp 10C from stock cooling. I rated performance at a 4 due to the fact this cooler is not for extreme OCers but I have my i7 running at 3.0 GHz and it stays around 39C at idle and 50C under load. A great upgrade cooler. I would buy again.

Comment:
Purchased for an I7-920 on a Gigabyte UDR3 Motherboard, the only problem was with the push in mounting clips for socket 1366. The Gigabyte board is to thick for them to actually lock in. Succesfully installed with a little Dremel tool modification to the Thermaltake mounting block, using a Zalman ZM-CS4A bolt thru kit. Very sturdy now. Great looking cooler.
