Thermochill PA160.1 Single 160MM Water Cooling Radiator with 120MM Shroud *No Barbs*
Cons:- "odd" size that may not fit where other rads would.- only a single pass radiator, performance would be better with a dual pass- the shroud is rather 'deep', so including the width of the rad & shroud & a 120mm fan you need a fair amount of space if you want to mount this rad internally.- pricy considering you could get a double rad (like a MCR220) for less than half the price of this one.
Pros:- Thermochill quality (which is very high)- comes with a 120mm shroud which makes mounting it substantially easier- low flow restriction |
I bought one of these to toy around with and have been quite happy with the results. Without any specific numbers in front of me, I'd say they this single rad performs similiar to a Swifttech MCR220, but not quite as a good a Thermochill PA120.2I would buy it the rad again for future watercooling builds where a double 120mm rad does not fit, plus it's different from most other rads and it's always nice to have something that others don't :-)
