Toshiba 32C120U 32IN 60HZ 720p LCD TV W/ 2XHDMI Port
Cons:ots of space, good price, quiet ConsSlow compared to red/black WD drives SummaryOwned 2 of these for a couple years, never had any problems (with any WD drive actually). Price keeps dropping, fairly quiet & efficient. Slower than the red/black lines of drives but for the price a great deal.

Toshiba 32C120U 32IN 60HZ 720p LCD TV W/ 2XHDMI Port
Cons:Long power-on time. PC HDMI connection results in green tint. Picture is not crisp.
Pros:Relatively inexpensive. Nice form factor and light-weight. Comment:
The TV looks nice on the outset, but I've not been overly impressed with its picture quality. The very first thing I noticed, even in relation to an older CRT TV, is that the picture has a fuzzy quality to it that cannot be resolved through modification of the display settings. As well, I'm a bit disappointed that the display has a green tint when connecting it to my laptop via HDMI. Oddly enough, the picture does not have this tint when connected to my WD HD TV Live Plus box via HDMI, so it may be something to do with the configuration of my laptop, but I'm not convinced that's the case.As mentioned in the cons, the power-on time is fairly... long. It has an initial power-on time of a few seconds, and then another few seconds of the Toshiba logo, and then a few more seconds as it switches to the input selected. It's not an experience-killer, but waiting for a TV to boot up is not my idea of a good time.As for positive notes, it's definitely a lighter-weight TV, so it's likely suited for drywall mounts without a stud support.I'd not buy this TV again, given the choice, but I'm also not inclined to bring it back, just due to the hassle involved. |
