Cons:Only has Digital Coaxial and HDMI output.
Pros:Fast/Smooth playback & browsing, strong Wi-Fi connection, good compatibility Comment:
So far, it FAR exceeds my previous media player (a WDTV Live). It has a 92% wireless connection strength from 50ft away, it connects to my external HDD in seconds (WDTV took 2-4 minutes WHEN it connected at all), has played all file types I've tried (WDTV had trouble with MKVs).My only gripe is that it only has 1x HDMI and 1x Digital Coaxial outputs. This is perfectly fine if connecting to a TV only, but if connecting to an audio receiver, I would have liked to see an Optical output.On sale, it's a steal, but it's well worth its retail price. |
The player is quiet, fast and worth every penny as it's $49 right now before tax at NCIX.
