I bought 2 of these several months ago. I am here buying 2 more. So far they have performed flawlessly. realtively quick and plenty of room for anything ''I'' have needed it for. At the price why not buy 'em. even at regular price these are still a 'strong buy'

I bought two of these and have used them extensively in the last couple of months. I have had exactly 0 (zero) issues with either one. The only reason I gave quality only 4 stars is that they do feel kinda cheap, but I am not known to be hard on equipment so it should be a problem. I say buy 'em! and Tiger, as always offered great service

I had this for 2 months and it died. I tried contacting Transcend customer service 2 times and never heard back. I will never buy any of their products again.

Great jump drive. had no problem with speed.It is smaller than most drives, smooth and thinner. Fits fine in usb bank and easy to carry. Tom G

Slightly cheap feeling buy it includes a lanyard unlike most other flash drives.

I just bought 1 Transcend JF V30 2GB and 1 PNY Attache 2GB (item P56-9115). I read reviews for both as far as speed and wanted to post my findings. I copied 1 256MB file from C: to the drive. Transcend took 45 seconds. PNY took 35 seconds. Since I just got them today I have no longevity to report.

What the heck, this is so slow. I tried to copy a 1.6GB file,after half an hour it still wasn't done. Bad flash drive.

Descent speed but for the price, I cant get picky, this USB drive is deadly! Works with XP, Vista and Ubuntu with no problems! Plus, it comes with a neck strap! (which you will need in order to keep tabs on it, it's small enough to lose easily) Transfer rate is not the best but its certainly not the worst. Nothing wrong with this little guy. It's good enough for me! I think I'm ordering 4 more to give away as gifts.

Bought this to use for readyboost and to boot linux off of it. It was very cheap and there was no question about buying it when i saw it. I successfuly booted gOS, slax, and knoppix from it. Then, I used it with readyboost and it actually makes a difference. Transfering files to it is fairly fast but could be better. Def worth $10. Kinda sucked I had to pay $8 for shipping but well worth it.

I have 3 of these and all they worked perfect. 2 are being used as boot drives and one is being used as emergency tool for media recovery and backup. you can buy it, very trustable

Purchased several units based on price. All work fine, although somewhat slow. Copied 709mb file in 3 min 10 sec compared to 1 min 35 sec for a SanDisk 2GB cruzer and the Transcend 2GB SD with a USB adapter at 2 min 45 sec (same computer same port). All considered, good value for money

Great low-buck 2GB flash drive. You can't go wrong with Transcend or Tiger Direct.

I have several other USB flash drives of whcih a couple are not always recognized the 1st time. Granted it's just a matter of unplugging and reinstalling the problem device to initialize but I've never once had that issue with the Transced 2 GB USB flash drive. Not to minimize that it was a great price at the time. This kind of stuff drops in price pretty quick so you have to do your homework at the time and make sure you don't really want 2 or 3 times that amount of storage in a month or so. Solid produdt.

It's small... so small you can loose it anywhere. But big capacity - 2GB is enough for many things I have to do. Great deal!

The flash drive itself is fine, however, there is something wrong in the partition-password software that destroyed my previously perfectly working Acer computer with XP. I partitioned the flash into equal 1 GB partitions with one partition password protected per directions. It worked fine for 10 minutes until I tried to open both partitions at the same time to transfer a file from one to the other (like on a partitioned hard drive), my computer locked up and even after doing a system restore it still often locks up when just trying to open anything- even My Computer. As transfering files between partitions is a normal/reasonable thing to do, but apparently was not tested for or debugged or given a warning, I'm giving this one a low score. If someone knows a quick fix for my computer I would appreciate to know. Also, they are being nitpicky on giving me my rebate but that is not the reason for the low score.

Good quality drive! Not the fastest writing speed in the business, but considering the price, this is a great buy. Quality is an A- only because the write speed is normal or good and not lightning quick. Definitely recommend this thing. It has detected and worked flawlessly in all the machines I have tried it in. (ONLY Windows XP machines, have not tried Mac/win9x/linux yet)

Great Product. Comes with Neckstrap and the casing is durable and I love it.. Had a neon blue light that shows when its working. Came with a $20.00 instant rebate so for $25.99 you cant go wrong for a 2gig... Truely amazing

Awsome product.. i dont kow why it was DOA for the other guy.. this thing was working right from the beginning.. one thing for win 98/me/2000 users .. the disk provided (drivers) is a minidisk ..therefore you can use this disk only for laptops if i am not mistaken .. if that is the case, copy the contents onto a floppy drive and install it wherevever you please .. . other than that i found this thing really great and cheaper than a 1 gig flash drive.. i can now transfer movies from one comp to another without having to waste a DVD

DOA, would not boot. Tiger was great to handle RMA's. Replacement in route, we'll see how this one does.

Great flash drive. Comes with a lanyard, necessary software for the pc-lock, password, ect.. functions. Very compact and very fast. Shipping was great from this site, will definately purchase from Tiger Direct again...
