Trendnet TEW-644UB Wireless N USB Adapter

I bought this to plug my old PC in the basement so I could check online drum sheets and drum lessons. It works on Windows XP, no problem so far. And it was the less expensive o14.99$ =)

Using this in my HTPC. It was a plug and play install in Win 7 64bit. It picks up a strong signal from my ASUS RT-N16 router. Streaming movies from other computers on the network is no problem with this device. It wakes and reconnects very quickly from sleep mode. Something that not all of these USB adapters do well. Very happy with this unit and for $20 it was a great deal.

i bought this for my htpc so i don't have to run a network cable to my tv...which is kind of a pain the rear end. install was easy found my wireless network instantly and worked right away. all in all for the money i paid for it it was a great purchase would definitely buy it again.

Picked this up for 20.00 dollars, it works great if you need to go wireless this is a good wireless adapter.

Got this one PM'd in the low $20 range. The adapter itself is long but it comes with a short usb extension cable which prevents it from sticking-out if placed into a rear-usb port. I would have bought the Buffalo model but current price is over $30 at the moment.

No issues whatsoever with my usage. No disconnect issues for web browsing and downloading updates/upgrades from the internet. Completely satisfied.

Very good adapter. Using it in the basement with my Linksys on the second floor and getting all connection bars. The speed loss is also minimal. Definitely a good buy for people looking for a usb plugin adapter.

This one is VERY good. It is extremely fast, with an incredibly noticable improvement over the DLINK Rangebooster G USB I have been using before it.I have been impressed with Trendnet since my first purchase of the mini USB network adapter about a year ago that was unfortunately smashed accidentally. I will certainly buy this brand in the future as my now preference.This USB network adapter ROCKS!

Laptops with builtin wireless seem to me to outperform computers with add on wireless adapters and this adapter has less range and signal strength than picked up by a G signal to a laptop with wifi built in - from the same router. So this adapter is a disappointment - no added range from N

We order a ton of these, and have had very little issues with them. They work good with 2000, XP, and Vista.

I had no issues with the installation, and would purchase another one. I used the drivers from TRENDnet's web site since the included CD drivers were older. You can either choose to use the TRENDnet wireless management software or Windows Wireless Networking instead after the driver has been installed, which is the route I chose.

I bought 2 and one worked for awhile and then started acting up. The other has worked fine since day one. Possibly a quality control issue. Not planning on getting any more.

I replaced my Type G wireless adapters with these to go with my new 300 type N router. The 3 year old type G adapters have better range and speed.

I put my laptop, with this USB adapter right next to my brand new 300 mbps router. The laptop went from 54 mbps to 65 mbps. Junk!!
