I bought this unit to distribute power to all my rack mounted gear. The amp meter is nice! Saved me from installing another circuit! This pdu has solid construction and strong outlets. Tight plugs are no issue. you don't need to worry about pulling out the insides of the pdu when disconnecting! Mounting options are flexible and include rear or side mounted ring type grommets (They come installed on the rear, and come with an extra set so you can attach to the sides). In my case I used the included clips and bolts. It would have been nice to have nuts included for the bolts (found some at my hardware shop). I mounted the clips to the side of my rack unit and the PDU snaps right into them. It's held quite securely, and I don't need to worry about the bar coming out of the clips when connecting or disconnecting plugs. I'd like telnet power on and off. But I'm only willing to pay $50 to 70 more for that. I will consider a 2nd for my workbench!
