i put it in and it started working. nothing special. i was told by sales representative that it would let me run 5 copies of world of warcraft at once, i can only run 2 and i crash alot! save your money and buy OCZ |

I bought town of these about 6 months ago and added it to my existing 1G of Ram. Seemed to work OK, but still had a bit of a problem with the smoothness of game play on some of my larger games. I thought this might have something to do with mismatched memory. I therefore, bought two more sticks. My games ran smoothly on 3G and when I tested the machine with 4 Gigs, my ATI HD 2400 512M Video Card really took off! I now have crystal clarity on all video displays. (FYU: I use Windows XP which will not recognize over 3.5G of Ram, but it's OK because the machine uses it non-the-less.)
