I put this in a old sony Vaio digital studio to make space and creat more air flow, works just like I hoped! I love it when a plan comes together!

works well. was enought long, didnt block airflow like ribon cable, can twist the cable without breacking it. I recommend it.

What can I say? I hate IDE, but when my mother called asking to see if I could get photos off of her old PC, I had to see what I could do. Worked like a charm, I would never install an IDE drive in a PC that has SATA drives. I would recommend everybody with old PC's lying around, to buy one of these cables... if only to get off all your old files. Nobody wants a drive with 20gb max in their pc, lol.

this cable has a unique design seems to work quite well. hard drives have to reasonably close together though

everything great unless you have a computer case that is not a straight stack, to short for what i needed so i gave it to my bro in law

needed this for my latest build, as I am still running a few IDE devices. Arrived fast, looks nice, BUT I did have to deal with the excess length. It does help keep the case neater looking inside (a definite plus).

I have 3 computers that I want to keep, they are old by any standard; however, I want to keep them. To make them as efficient as I can, I clean them up, change flat ribbon cables for round cables, etc, etc. I'm no PC expert, these changes are mostly mechanical basic maintenance. They do woork, because I'm still using these computers.

Manufacturer offered to replace these with no hassle at all. Both cables would work with only one drive, but not be reliable. If you put two IDE drives on them with Cable Select or SLAVE Master configurations, they could not function. It would have cost me nearly the full cost of the cables for return shipping. I threw them out, and will not consider using these IDE cables again. This past week, I purchased an SATA cable set, which I have not tried, but will when I get a new HDD for system backup.

My only comment is that a shorter version of this cable would be nice. But, it works as advertised and I needed it.

$8 IDE round cable with broken tab on connector, i.e. useless. Not worth time and money to return. Anyway, had thrown out packaging. Two other cables okay. Quality control needing improvment.

I hate clutter in my pc, so i bought 2 of these, and they do the job well. Keeps my pc intereior organized and sametime looks good, and does the job well, No complaints. I game a lot and havent noticed any flaws with these. Get them if ur like me.

Great alternative to ribbon cables. Needed a long cable to connect two devices. Labeling on the cable gets in the way and I cut the "dummy" labels off.

I installed this on a Dell Desktop. Worked without any problems and was easy to install. Makes it much easier to clean and work inside the case as it takes up a fraction of the space a regular cable takes. Would definitely buy another one if needed.

These things make a clear side case look VERY nice. But they are 20in long soo.... ya got to find a place to shove the extra 10in lame. GREAT BUY I LOVE YOU TIGER

Wish they had one that wasn't 20'' long, prety overkill. I thought it would free up more space because of the round design, but after having to leave a ton of extra cable lying around, there not to much savings and it is Thick. Also I only have 1 IDE drive in my computer so i was hopeing that extra ''flat'' part of the cable was removable. I still like it better then the flat type anyday.

Worked great - freed up a ton of space. You really would be surprised at how much a freakin' ribbon cable takes up when you have this in. But what else can you say - It's a cable...
