I got the charger a few weeks ago, used it the first night, its working perfect, although it will not do some of my older rechargable batteries, the lights just flash full, but i expected it only to work on its own brand and some higher end batteries, only use lithium ion or nicad, anything older or alkaline it will not work on at all. Over all a descent purchase and i recommend it if your going to buy the batteries its made for

The animated video shows the little button to the side of the LCD lighting up. Mine does not, though I think it's just a button. Otherwise, like other reviewers, mine arrived with some batteries which did not work with this charger. Call customer service and they'll send you new ones. I also both cleaned the battery's contacts with steel wool and put them in a less sophisticated charger for an initial charge which seems to have helped them.

The charger definitely worked as advertised. I plugged it in, out rechargeable batteries in it (both AA and AAA at the same time) and let it do its thing. A couple of hours later, all the batteries were fully charged. I believe this device will save me a lot of money on batteries over the next few years, at a very reasonable initial price. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality battery charger.

It does just as it's advertised with no problems. The only flaw, im my opinion, is that it should have a clear hinged & ventilated cover.

As advertised, nice to detect bad batteries and not have to fill all the slots for it to work. Charges fast, and my only complaint is 2 DOA out of 8 Ultra AA batteries and 1 of 8 Ultra DOA AAA batteries purchased on same order.

Used it for a few weeks now and so far so good. First when I unpacked it I was not sure of the solidity because the glass over the LCD screen almost came out with the protective tape and one of the bay didn't accept AAA batteries, but after forcing it a bit, it went in. So construction would gain to be more solid and precise a bit, but no more trouble since then. Concerning the features, I'm not hundred per cent sure, the evaluation of the good and bad batteries seems a little erratic, but it seems to rejuvenate some of my other batteries that wouldn't charge correctly in my other chargers. Mabye the discharged function is not stranger to it. Concerning the Ultra batteries I must be lucky because it fit my Canon camera and this is their main use (long lasting too). If you're looking for a good charger, go buy it ! If you're not to rough on your things, it may last for a while. Good performance and features for your money and very good service from Tiger Direct too !

I Feel this Product has a lot going for it, For example a plug that can be used for an extra attachment for an additional charging tray.

The charger works fine; it works as advertised. But the batteries are a different story. These are supposed to be AA batteries. They are larger and do not fit in anything I own that takes AA so I can't even comment on performance. They won't even go into my Logitech mice. I have tried to fit them into CD players, MP3 Players, Mice, Halloween Decor, Flash Lights, and some other gadgets. Total waste of money.

Old charger shows bad batt's are good, this one identified faulty batt's. Slightly slower charge time than old one. Charged a few batt's I was ready to toss out. All included batt's were good and are still working fine. I recommend.
