Right out of the box hasnt worked

I am just using it as a regular surge protector. Dosent shut anything off. I have read the review of other people have it connected to their TV and the TV has a fan that runs for a while. I have waited for several hours ...... it still dosent shut off anything. Dont think I would buy this esp since there are better deals for a plain surge protector. Good luck getting any support from ultra. |

Every power strip should work like this

I use these on all my TVs and computer setups now. Shuts off power to everything once the master is turned off. The only problem is that DVRs and HD controller boxes don't work as masters because they never really shut off. That means the TV must be used to shut down all other components. As a result, the two biggest vampire power sources (i.e., DVR & TV) use power when turned ''off''. |

Awesome Power Saving Device

This is an amazing product to say the least. Although obviously designed for a desktop I do use it for my laptop. I warn you though when the laptop goes to sleep it kicks off the devices attached (ie speakers and external hard drive) Which then causes the laptop to wake back up. Other than that I love it. I plan on buying the smaller unit for my home theatre in the near future. |

My dlp tv did not work with this item. The tv only had a 2 prong plug to put into the master outlet on the strip. My stb didn't work it had a 2 prong plug. I got this to work on my computers and my 3 prong lcd tv. |

Does what is say's it does. If you connect it right. Called support to make sure on how to connect everything by e-mail. And they got back to me that same day(Email)When other company's make you wait 1 to 2 weeks. 1) If you have a DVR cable box, You will want that always on plug.I have 2 subwoofer, 1 Reciever, 1 xbox360, 1 dvd recorder, 1 LCD 42''hdtv. Going to get more for my house,
