This cooling station is the best ever! I can't even hear it but when I remove my laptop from it I can most certainly feel it. It is light weight and fits easily into my case, it is also great due to the extera USB slots that it has. The price is really affordable and worth every penny.

I think this is a great buy, quite and light. Fits in my carrying case along with my laptop. Keeps the computer cool and isn't loud like another cooling station i had.

it doesn't work it couldn't keep my computer from shutting down due to overheating like the other base fans i have bought. It looks all nice and neat and cool but it sucks completely. its also noisy you can hear it while watching a video it doesn't overpower the sound but it is audible

Excellent product!. Very silent: I had to put my hand to see if it was working. It cools my laptop very fast. I can have it on my lap and I don't feel the heat of my laptop at all. Good Laptop Cooler, the fan doesnt go as fast as i thought it would seems to run pretty slow, cools my laptop nicely but would have liked a turbo mode for when the laptop was really working hard it could use the extra cold air.

Value is awesome, features are simple and functional, quality is way higher than expected for the price. Performance is ok. My laptop isn't as hot but I am still having difficulty with video on the right side of the laptop heating up so much that lines form only on half the screen. May be some other malfunction but controlling heat hasn't fixed my problem like I thought. But I like this cooling station even though it didn't fix my issue.

I needed to spend a few extra $ to qualify for free shipping. I have been looking at these cooling stations for a while because my wife like to sit the laptop on her lap and it gets very warm. This one works great, is very quiet, not sure on the power consumption because we only use it when the laptop is plugged in.

The cooling station is very light weight, extremely quiet and fits my mac 15 inch perfectly. However, it is not designed to sit on your lap. If it's not perfectly level the fan rubs on the housing making an awful noise. Could do better on the cooling too, but for the money, not bad.

After much searching and many comparisons on the Internet this was my final choice ... IT IS AWESOME! The massive 200mm fan is almost 100% silent and the cooling properties are phenomenal, the quality is oustanding as is the price. I would recommend the Sub Zero X1 to be your only choice when choosing a cooling station!
