Great cable for the price

I got this cable to connect my directv receiver to one of the imputs on my 22' wide computer monitor so I could watch tv on it in picture in picture. It works great, I've had no problems, great price for a 25' cable |

Works well for watching DVDs on a projector

This 25' component cable is unshielded and I was a bit apprehensive about buying it for use with my Infocus X1 projector to watch DVD movies, via a component video to VGA adapter. Shielding did make a difference with an S-Video cable I was using earlier, until the S-Video input circuit on my projector stopped working. Therefore the only option to watch DVDs is via component video. But I was not willing to spend double the amount for a shielded cable. Thankfully, I found this cable works just fine. A very slight ghosting (if you look hard) does appear on movie images which I don't recall being present with my shielded S-Video cable. But no one notices it, so I feel fine using this cable. I had to re-calibrate the settings very slightly (color and brightness) and now, watching movies is as pleasant it was before. I recommend this cable if you want to save money. If you are a real video-phile, then buy the shielded component cable. |

I got this cable to connect my HDTV on the other side of the room where my HDTV cable receiver and Bluray Player are. Same as someone commented before, I was hesitating about the quality of the image that I would get because this is a non-shielded cable and because of its length. Nevertheless, after I installed it, quality is still very good. You might expect a little degradation but you really have to get very very close to notice. If you are in the market for a very affordable cable, this is your product.
