Exceeded Expectations!
Comment:
No hassel plug and play device. In use for over six months. Power supply not necessary for my application. Great product. |

Great Product!
Comment:
I'm not too sure why some reviewers only gave this product 2 or 3 stars, because it works just fine. I saw nothing that stated that it comes with an IR remote, and it does come with a power supply, which the instructions say isn't necessary unless you're going run several devices in series. The instructions didn't say anything about it switching automatically, but I found that it does, just as another reviewer stated. I plugged my cable box into port 1 and my Blue ray into port 2. When the blue ray is powered on, it switches ports, then switches back when it's (the blue ray) powered off! It's very small so it doesn't take up too much space. All I can say is, what a great little device, and it's well worth the price!!! |

Nice little gadget
Comment:
I've used A-B switchers for serial and parallel ports, and VGA ports but this was my first try using an A-B HDMI switch and I'm impressed. I did not notice any signal degradation when compared to a direct-connect HDMI. Now I can use my new 23'' LCD monitor between my laptop and desktop. |

Good Value for the Price
Comment:
I could have used one more HDMI port, but for $30 I can't really complain. |

Works good, does the trick!
Comment:
Forget that no IR included and vague instructions. The bottom line is that just connect cables and such and it solved my issue of only 1 HDMI input to TV. I am happy with it. |

DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTIZED
Comment:
Description states that an IR remote is furnished with the product - No such remote is included - Works fine manually, however, that is not what it was stated to do. If you expct of operate remotely - buy something else |

How does it switch?
Comment:
The features say it automatically switches. It does not do that. The instructions are pathetic. |

buy a new receiver instead
Comment:
I bought this and now it sits in a box somewhere, even with a power supply which does not come with it it still had trouble with detecting video from my BD player or HD-DVD, bought a new receiver with multi HDMI in-puts works wonders. |

Does as advertized
Comment:
This unit does exactly what they said it would. When you are short an HDMI connector, this is an inexpensive way to solve the problem. I only wish the power plug was straight, rather than angled. I had to rearrange my outlet strip, to plug it's power supply in. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. |

It switches....
Comment:
How do you review a switch? It switches, just like it says. So I guess one could say that it works as advertised. Kudos to the switch maker. |

Over priced & adapter not included
Comment:
Sales help did not know this item works from power from HDMI cable.Adapter needed if you more than one in line. Bought a Rosewill 3 port for less money($27.99) Much better quality and includes adapter & remote control. Ultra unit looks like a toy by comparison. |

Great price! Great product!
Comment:
Once again, this place has made me happy. I received the product within a few days, hooked it right up and it works like a charm. It automatically switches between my cable box/DVR and my DVD player. All that is needed is to turn the DVD player on or off to switch. This product does exactly as advertised and for much cheaper than competitors' prices. As Randall stated, it does not need a power supply. Thank you. |

Switches HDMI Sources without a Hitch
Comment:
I returned a lower priced product purchased at a home improvement center because it didn't work. Although this one didn't come with an HDMI cable [like the product I returned], it does what I want flawlessly. I have a satellite DVR receiver and a Blu Ray disc player hooked up to the single HDMI input on my HDTV. When I power up the Blu Ray player followed by the TV, the Ultra ULT40265 automatically changes to the correct input signal. When I turn off the disc player, the ULT40265 automatically switches back to the DVR signal. The unit also has an indicator light to distinguish between the two HDMI sources and a button which can be used to select the correct source. If you intend to use the product in the same manner as I have described, you will never have to use this button! |

Works great!
Comment:
Received the switch in about 4 days after ordering. Superb shipping (a bit overpriced) experience and the switch performs appropriately. It does not need a power source, and has a very visible red l.e.d. light that remain on at all times. This switch is overpriced, but does the job! I could not find this item in the denver area, so I am pleased that they had it readily available. I have my Direct TV and Blue Ray DVD player hooked up to the switch and all is performing well! |
Plug in the cables. Plug in the power (I find I don't need power for it to work just fine). Stop fiddling with your TV's input selector screens.
