Bought this enclosure to allow backup of office files. We alternate 2 500GB drives between onsite and offsite. The Ultra enclosure worked without problems, although I still haven't configured it for hot swap. The drives were a very tight fit the first time they were installed, after that it's an easy process. The ejectors have worked properly.

Picked this up for my SSD and it works perfectly. As easy to install as any disc drive.

I purchased this to help me back up my laptop hard drives. Simple and easy to use. One and done. Not much else to do but plug and play.

Quality 4 of 5 because the drive ejection levers are non-reinforced plastics, which raises a SMALL concern for long-term use. Otherwise, I am very pleased. This allows me to create, huge permanent, fast, updateable video archives for clients by swapping inexpensive 2.5-inch drives. Installation was a snap for Vista and Windows 7.

Works exactly as specified. I'm happy as it's used to store two sshd's. The latches are plastic and a little flimsy but I don't remove the drives very often. Not sure if transfer rates are influenced by this enclosure.

I had a few laptops down and I needed the data from the HDDs. This little demon bottled right in and started working. I have a full tower so I had to adapt a power cord from at to sata and the drive only handles sata drives, but those are the only draw backs. It is like adding two more Hdds. I use them for back ups. It is great but I should have read a little closer because I have two smaller drives that need one for IDE and this unit does not do that. Great Price.

I've bought many accessories over the years from Ultra and the quality has never been in question. This product is no different as it is a nice metallic finish which is sturdy and not like those cheap plastic enclosures. With the prices of SSDs coming down this is a great add-on to any pc Build. Highly recommended since easy to install & Great quality build.
