This USB to Serial Adapter works just as it should, every place I've tried it. I have a dozen or so USB to Serial adaptors from various other manufacturers and except for a Keyspan adapter, they work only in some places -- none 100% of the places I need them. |

Works better than other similar devices in a more compact design. Windows XP found the device simply as ''test'' and required manual driver install by browsing a few folders deep for the right driver (USB 2.0 TO RS232 Converter\pc driver\win2000_xp_2003_xp64). Worked for the desired task of using a console cable via Hyperterm in XP. |
I am running windows vista premium and have four usb ports which I have not had any trouble using the adapter in any port. Very well pleased with this item.
