This PSU is very quiet and stays very cool. I am running a Q9550 CPU with 4GB of memory at the moment, with 2 XFX GTX 260's in SLI, in a Cooler Master HAF 932 case. This has no problem whatsoever powering those cards and whatever else I may want to add. It includes many different modular cables, and you shouldn't have a problem getting power to all your accessories, nomatter how many HDD's or bay drives you may have. Only downsides: I also get the buzzing noise that one or two other reviews were talking about, but it is very quiet and you can barely hear it. Nothing to worry about. Also, the 8 pin 12V cable to the MOBO was about an inch or two too short for my case. Those with bigger cases may need an extension. Luckily, my case came with one.

I just upgraded my system to an AMD Phenomon II 965 black edition and needed more power supply. I have several Ultra's running and am very satisfied with these products. This power supply is no different. Easy to install with the flexible cable system, quiet. I should not have to upgrade my PS for a long time. It's worth the money. Register online and you get a lifetime warranty. Very happy.

I'm running an ASUS Rampage II GENE with two Nvidia GeForce GTX 295 video cards, plus all that stuff that we all need (hard drives, DVD drives, card readers, etc...). I've been using this PSU for more than a month now and I just love the silence and performance. This is a great product.

While I'm not in love with ALL Ultra products, they do manufacture top notch power supplies. Over the years, I've owned three Ultra supplies and all have performed admirably and without failure. Not only are they sharp looking, the modular design is innovative and straightforward. Most all cables are marked as to their function and location which makes putting together a system, a snap! I am sold on Ultra power supplies and will continue purchasing them as long as the quality, performance, ease of installation, exceptional styling and price remain constant. I knocked off one value star only because I feel these should be priced in the $125150 range. Other than that it's Two Thumbs UP and you cannot go wrong with Ultra power supplies!

Spend the extra couple bucks on this over a 600w or lower PSU, at 1000w this thing will not need to be replaced in years, most modern GPU's even in crossfire need no more than a 650watt system. The modular design is a great asset at any PC user, makes installation a breeze, keeps the system tidy and easy to work on, plus this thing looks sexy! mirrored finish and clean. Perfect unit with so many extra cables.

Purchased and installed to provide better power margin for installation of high power consumption video cards. Very well made and easy to install. Modular design greatly assists in installation and minimizes clutter inside case. Instructions are adequate, but could be better.

this power supply is worth the money. easy to install. the modular cable design is great, only use the cables you need, and it comes with a ton of them. would recommend to others. very pleased with this product.

Got this to replace a Ultra Pro 750 witch sounded like a jet plane taking off...This psu is very quiet and runs everything I can throw at it.

This thing has plenty of cables, unless you try to run tri SLI or something similar. Mine had a screw falling around inside when I got it, but doesn't seem to create a problem. Easy to setup, plenty of power, and nice and quiet.

The reason it got a lowe performance is that ever time I get into some game or something, like fallout 3 the PSU buzzes. Liek in the Pip-boy (like a pause menu) the buzzing goes down, or when I did the wait time thing everytime I go down an hour, the thing will buzz and then stop as i wait to go to the next hour. I am having the problem with my second one I got from this site(which I have had great customer service with). Someone said it might be the voltage and my videocard, I have been meaning to call ULTRA, I just don't want to cause I hate CUstomer Service usually.

Had to take my top fan off to make it fit, but it was totally worth it! This thing can handle everything I throw at it. Had it for a couple months now and still running great. This is an excellent PSU.

I got one of these in a Antec 1200 case it makes my case look very clean and i get wonderful airflow. I don't hear the fans and it looks very sleek. I love this power supply! I've had it for about a week now it hasn't failed me yet!

The first one shipped was defective right out of the box. Ultra's tech support provided me with an exchange ticket and the store exchanged it for an identical, working piece. Been happy with it ever since. It does the job and the modular design means my case is very neat and organized.

Bought this as an upgrade from my ultra 750. Looks good and works great the only down fall that i had was that some of the cables from the 750 would not work with the 1000. No big deal as there are plenty with this power supply just liked my old ones.

Bought it just because I felt like it. The special cables were great. Less clutter means better airflow. It actually dropped the temps in my case by 3 degrees and as we all know, every degree counts...WOOOT

I couldn't be happier with this unit. Design, engineering, functionality, and looks! It's so nice to only plug in what cables you use it helps keep it very clean inside your build. Also this units exterior is the most awesome looking metal I've ever seen. I could have gotten by with a650 or 750 but I would always rather have a bit more and not have to worry if I expand or add more demading peripherals in hte future.

This is an excellent product. It meets up to all claims. Comes with more than enough cables to connect any system you want to build. Installation is simple and clean. Runs my quad core and power gobbling 280gtx with power to spare. Highly recomended.

It may be over kill for what I have it in but I need not worry. Beware of case requirements. If a top fan is used it may need removed. The cableing is nice and handy.

I bought this to replace a 750W that was cutting out with my new graphics cards. This is a great PSU, runs cool, quiet, provides all the power I could ever need and fits perfectly in my Antec case. Great deal.
