What can I say. It's a quality power supply that does it's job and keeps air flowing through my PC by eliminating the unneccessary wiring. It is a bit pricey, but I feel it's worth it... AWESOME!!!!

Does everthing I expected and then some. More than enough connections and a great case to store the extras. Very quiet. Just a great piece of equipment all the way around.

I honestly never thought i'd say this about a power supply, but this one's pretty sexy. Everything is very well packaged, it is very easy to use, a cinch to install, and it keeps my case looking very clean(with a little cable management). I personally would buy from Ultra for all of my power supply needs.

Had this one about a month now as an upgrade in a desktop. Its a little big for my computer which previously had a micro ATX, but it fits well, just the holes aren't lining up. It stays in place because there are some things pushing up against it on the inside. Never the less, its a wonderful supply, had not even threatened to fail me, nice big fan and the watts I need. It comes complete with more cables than you will probably ever need and a nice bag with two velcro pouches in which to keep them in case you upgrade in the future. It doesn't light up and show you the way like some supplies do but its a dependable, well built unit that I am sure will last a good long time. You should get one.

Overall its not a bad deal. However the one of the plastic pieces that are attached to the powersupply fell off. I now can not use that plug. Also the wires are a little stiff. But for the money you can't expect 100%. The case is nice though.

Installed this in an older Presario MCE PC as a replacement for the faulty PSU the konked out after shutting my PC down. It was a bit of a tight fit for my case but works like a charm. This modular PSU allows you to only use the cables needed and includes major accessories for installation. I will be buying another Ultra PSU for my next build. I'm sold.

I got this PSU for the buy. I needed a sufficient power supply with good wattage. This Ultra Modular definitely did the trick. I didn't need half of the cables that come with a regular power supply, so the modular was the best choice! Use only what you need. With this attraction to all buyers, the Ultra X4 is a great buy! And to top it off, it saves space in the case. A consumer can't really ask for more. Great buy! Great power! Space saver! QUAD 5's Grade A

After reading a few reviews of this product, I was concerned about the stiffness ofthe motherboard cable. It's no stiffer than any other I've used, sheathed or unsheathed. Any bundle of wires that large is going to be stiff. The connectors at both ends are more than adequate. Don't worry about the stiffness. Overall, this is an excellent buy - quality from top to bottom. I love the silicone dampner. Plenty of quiet, reliable, power and more cables than most users will ever need.

I have an Asus M4A70XTD EVO board with a 125W AMD 3.4, XFS 5770 video card, 6 fans in the case. and no problems at all very quiet and there cableing is Awesome! only use what you need they were also long enough for my Thermaltake Spedo which is a Monster case. dont let the hype fool you 500 watts is alot of power remember when 250 was alot!

I agree with the other reviewer. The mainboard cable (24pin) is stiff as nails and it came out of the PSU side several times while I was installing it. If this had a better latch it would be perfect. I dont see any issue though, once it's installed. It comes with MORE than enough cables and the lengths are more than adequate.

I like the specs and modular idea but the problem with this unit is that the main power cable is way too long and stiff as rebar. Also, it kept unplugging at the supply end no matter how hard I pushed it in. Shorten the cables and loosen em' up and this will be a great PS.

i got this to go with my hd 4770 video card and only had to hook up 5 cables. i have so much room left in my case. also i don't hear any loud fan sound any more. this is a great item.

Modular makes life so much easier. I can add and remove both components and the wires that make a mess. Very smooth operation. The fan is amazingly quiet and cools very well. No sound or vibrations whatsoever. A nice tight fit in every case I use with the silicon vibe dampener.

I love the modular design and as always Ultra has done a great job. The fan runs smooth and it is almost impossible to even hear my computer when it is running. That is a huge improvemnt over my last PSU that could be heard a mile away. Would recommend to anyone.
