Purchased from NCIX 7 months ago. Compared several HD docks available from 3 different online CAN retailers at the time. This looked like best over-all based on user reviews of performance and its price. Has performed excellently over this period. Only (minor) flaw is that the cables easily dislodge from back of unit. Means whatever copying is aborted (and may need to be re-done). I have yet to try to gently clamp these input ports with needle nose pliers to see if can "tighten" them - may solve the problem. Looking forward to getting another - can recommend. NCIX service was also perfect: had been using NewEgg but they didn't have this particular item and I have since had poor service on a couple of occasions (wasted my time!!) with NewEgg.
