It does what it needs to do, add 2 eSATA ports to laptops. W7 picked it up with no problems. Cheap price to add that much speed to data xfer.

I use this Vantec ExpressCard with my Toshiba notebook. This product was an easy install with Vista. The only requirement was to install the drivers that came with this ExpressCard. The fast Esata speed was welcomed for my external back up drive. No complaints with Vantec performance, works good.

Works perfectly fine for my Dell Latitude D830 running Windows XP Professional. Could be a bit cheaper, but still nothing wrong with it. Plugs right into my Express Card Slot and lets me run an eSATA cable to my external hard drive. Haven't tried using both ports at the same time to see if that would bog down the speeds. I also ran a quick comparison by transferring about 30 GB of data onto my hard drive using USB and then eSATA and write speeds were about twice as fast. I can't test read speeds, but eSATA advertises read speeds being 3x as fast as USB.
