I only use Verbatim DVD+R DL's because I've found them to be the most reliable dual layer discs out there. They just blow away the competition in terms of compatibility and reliability. |

Great media for backing up console games. the media is reliable and lasts for years as long as you're not abnormally hard on it. reads like a charm in xbox360.they are a little expensive, but its worth spending a little more on good media. |

Great for backing up games. Still have yet to have a coaster from a burn session. Still are a little bit expensive but that should begin to change in the not too distant future. Overall a great product and would purchase again. Would be nice if they were also lightscribe capable. |

Use em to burn Xbox 360 games, these are awesome and even when I burn em at 8X, I still read well. The batch I got was made in Singapore, so it's always good quality. Awesome buy would buy 100% next time. Great price when on sale for 19.99$P.S L4D2 and Assasins creed 2 are very fun. |

I used to buy Ritek DL disks on sale at a famous retail store until i get read errors for half of them within a year. Not good. And then, these Verbatim 8X Dual Layer disks unexpectedly came on sale for $15, so i grabbed a couple of packs. They are supposedly the best, so we'll see. Mind you, i'm now considering hard drives as backups as price is dropping non-stop. |

Verbatim makes some of the best DVD media on the market. I have tried several different brands before and none gets close to Verbatim in terms of writing quality. If you can get them when NCIX puts on a sale then it's an excellent deal. In any case, the extra cost is well justified by the quality of the product. |

These are great discs. Verbatim is one of the most trusted brands in blank media, and these babies are no exception. I got them because certain movies are only coming out in 8.5GB format these days, and it's a pain to split a backup into two discs! This way I can backup all my movies on 1 disc each, or even 2 per disc if I really wanted to. Great media! |

I've gone through 5 spindles of these Verbatim 8x. The first 4 spindles burned perfectly but the 5th spindle had a bunch of defective discs. Overall I am still happy with my purchase, especially given the price. I've had worse experiences with other brands. 4 out of 5 stars. This review was modfied by poster @ 08-16-12 03:23 PM
