I originally bought this for my netbook and, while it was oversized, still worked good enough for what I needed. I now have a laptop and I love the adjustable angle. The raised edge has padding on it to protect the surface. Comfortable angle for your wrists and is not uncomfortable on your lap. For the price and features, you won't find a better deal anywhere else!

Props up laptop to let air underneath and prevent overheating. Swivels. Fairly sturdy. Puts keyboard on incline, which is better for typing. Does exactly what I wanted it to do.

It was definitely a good deal and an affordable price. However, I caution you if you have headphone jacks in the front of your computer, because on the Vantec stand you will not be able to plug headphones in because that portion of the laptop is blocked

I was a little skeptical at first when I purchased this item but after reading the good reviews I decided to give it a try. I was very pleased by the fact that I did not need to connect it to my netbook to keep it running. Now I can use my netbook for hours without worrying about overheating it.

I've had this for about a month now, and it's still doing its job. My wrists don't hurt anymore when I type while lying down, and the fact that I don't need a USB to keep this thing from overheating makes me happy. The swiveling is just an added bonus when I want to show someone something. Definitely worth it.

Didn't want any cords or fans, just a nice solid accessory to help keep my laptop as cool as possible. It's perfect for me. Easy to pick up and carry with my laptop and set up anywhere. Very solid, adjustable, durable, and inexpensive. Wasn't able to find anything like this anywhere else.

while deploy to middle east got this no desk so it my hard surface for my desk on my bed. keep it up and breathing tilt good and makes it comfy to type. for stand on the go it good and cheap!

Have had this for about 10 days and is working just fine. Laptop stays cool other than normal heat. No batteries or usb hookup required. Laptop stays firmly in place and can be swiveled. Nice feature. Very pleased with this stand.
