Solid!
Comment:
This cabinet is as solid as it looks on the webpage. Nice size and you don't lose any desktop surface since the cabinet top surface is solid and usable. |

Good product for the price
Comment:
I've been looking for a secured storage for my media and this one came out the winner for me. Well constructed product for the price with lock. Only minor issue is it's a little bulky for its size when you have no space to spare. I like the handle situated on the front instead of on top so you can stack the cabinet if needed and yet each cabinet is portable. Overall a good buy! |

Better than expected
Comment:
This case is very nice. I didn't expect it to be this solid. It fits like a glove on my black desk also. Best feature is the lock & key. I keep important software in there as well as money, my ipod, watch, reciepts, etc... anything of value. I have a 3rd filled with disc and the rest I use as a safe. Very cool. I'm buying another as a gift. |

Vaultz 165 Disc Capacity Locking CD/DVD Cabinet
Comment:
I absolutely love this cabinet. I've tried several different cabinets and this is the best I have seen for a reasonable price. There are a few things that it does lack, for instance, if you're using jewel cases like I am (item # F180-4190) you'll only be able to store about 110 to 120, if you want 165 you'll have to use paper sleeves. About 20 of them come with the cabinet so you'll have to buy more. This does not come with alphabetized dividers but you can get some here (item # I220-1016 you get two Qs instead of an O with this set). The build quality inside is perfect, I would have moved the lock inside the door to give us more room, but that is a minor gripe. The build quality on the outside, for the most part is also perfect, everything except the metal bars on the top, there is a gap between the cabinet and the bars, not large but enough to notice. For me this is not a deal breaker as the corners and the bars on the bottom are very secure. |
Yeah, it's a good product especially combined with their filing system and the lock has a nice click to it. The case is strong and larger then the discs to there is extra protection to it then I expected. The only draw back is that the feet of one unit does not interlock or locate well on the top of another unit so they would have to be between two objects to keep them securely stacked. The 2 drawer unit is better if you need to stack em.
