living in a city I do not carry a pocketbook to do so is asking to get robbed... I bought this item for a little grab if there's a fire and run with it box... the pages were easy to cut out and the lining is wonderful.. there's a strap for your shoulder that comes off also enclosed and 2 keys... it holds my cash checks passport and a few more documents I've had all of my long life...

Overall, I like this product. It's built tough and is very durable. I've purposely stood on it, and while I only weigh 160lbs it held up perfectly under that. No deformation anywhere, whatsoever. What isn't so great is the lock. It simply doesn't work on mine. For one thing, the keys are very flimsy. Simply exercising the mechanism without even closing the lid, I could feel the key shaft bending in my hand and I'm sure it'd break off in the lock someday. On top of that, the descending hasp that's meant to pass through the upper-lid latch doesn't do so. So even with a full turn of the key the vault isn't locked. Just open the latch and you're in. Now, mine may be defective in that regard, but nothing appears bent or misaligned in the least. And mind you, this was all BEFORE the ''Stand On It'' test. Again, nice overall, but be aware of the lock if you're expecting security.
