I've been using Verbatim disc's since there were only CD-R's and they have always been reliable. I had some cheap Maxell DVD-R's from a local store and they would not work with my Magnavox VCR/DVD recorder, constant errors. So I went back to Verbatim, paid less for more reliable discs. Copied five VHS to DVD so far an not a single error.
