Short lived quality
Comment:
Had it for two months. Went completely dead. Shipped back to Viewsonic. Cost me 30 bucks shipping. That was three weeks ago. Haven't heard a word from them yet. Who knows what and when I'm getting it back. |

Broken Already
Comment:
I've had this tv for exactly 2 months. It just suddenly stopped working and getting in touch with viewsonic tech support is exhausting and has gotten me nowhere. What a waste of money! |

Just what I needed
Comment:
This product was the right price for what I needed. It easily doubles as computer monitor. I am using it in the bedroom for tv, video games, and computer. No complaints, would highly recommend to anyone. |

Disappointed
Comment:
First VT2230 would not hold DTV Ch 66-1 thru 66-4. Replacement has same problem. Viewsonic Tech Support could not assist and recommended return to retailer. Possible design flaw in ATSC tuner. |

Great Product and Deal
Comment:
I am no TV expert, but this one is just what I need. The sound is great, and the picture is very clear. I am most satisfied with this product. |

Good value
Comment:
We bought this to replace an old, old TV in the bedroom. Picture quality is good for basic cable stations but is not as good as our Sony for HD channels. We could not get the TV to work with the AT&T u-verse remote so we have to fumble with two remotes. All that being said it still a great value and we are satisfied with our purchase. |

Great TV and a great price
Comment:
Overall a great value. We use it primarily for the Wii and to play movies through a DVD player. Also have a computer plugged into it. Text can be a little hard to read on the computer. Just wish it had a DVI input instead of the VGA. My son loves the TV and the picture is very good. Would buy again. |

Dark Picture
Comment:
I find the picture to be very dark. On all of the prefabbed picture settings, like Theatre, Vivid, etc., it's hard to see any detail. The detail's there if you crank up the brightness, but this makes the picture look washed out. I think ViewSonic makes good monitors, not so sure about good TVs. On the fence about whether we'll keep this TV. |

Nice TV - Great Deal
Comment:
Out of stock, but shipped 2 days later. Replaced old 20 in bedroom. Picks up 720p and 1080i on basic cable. Watched parade and football in hd. Great picture. Haven't noticed any stuck or dead pixels. Only complaint is lack of last channel button on remote. |

Great Product
Comment:
Pros: Perfect for gaming. Great for PC. QAM. I'll say it again: QAM. It picks up 720p and 1080i channels on basic cable. Lots of inputs. Lots of screen real estate. Cons: speakers are sometimes VERY tinny. It depends on the channel. If it finds a channel, and says it does not exist (like it's a blocked sports event or a test channel), it jumps to channel 2. Very annoying. As with all widescreens, the digital work best, and the analog are average. Wish List: There are 8 buttons on the bottom of the remote. I wish they were the favorites instead of the 4 they give you. These 8 buttons don't seem to do anything. It does not have the ability to view only digital channels. It mixes them with analog. It would be a great option. The digital has a program guide, but it's not that great. It needs the names of tv programs instead of ''no Info''. It would be great if the tuner software could be upgraded. OVERALL: A good investment. |
Bought in Nov as present for mom, went totally dead in FEB. Sent in for warranty work, came back in 4 weeks and would not load any digital channels except one. Sent back again for a exchange, new TV did the same thing, sent back again and replacement did the same. As of now still no working TV. BEWARE AND CONSIDER PURCHASING ANOTHER BRAND or if you buy Viewsonic consider the 24 inch instead!!! There is a definite flaw in the firmware from the Viewsonic factory in walnut CA. GOOD LUCK!!! JB
