I have used this projector in Africa where you could not control the light during the day, In the Netherlands where the room was too small to project far (we used a white board for a screen), in Finland and in the U.S. Each time, it has performed well. I use a room darkening white curtain for a portable screen. The colors show up well. I have projected it also on to a cream colored wall and a green wall and gotten good results. It starts up easily, and is portable. It fits in my knap sack computer roll on. The light gets extremely hot and I actually started a paperback book smoking when I laid up up against the light to block the picture. My husband who is geeky likes it, too.
