I used to be a BIG VS fan. Until I got to deal with their support. After 49 plus days, 300 dollars, more than a dozen phone calls, 2 defective refurb replacements and who knows how many hours, VS 'upgraded' me to a 24 in model that sells for 50 dollars LESS and has no adjustable base (still waiting for it). DEFINATELY my last VS purchase after more than 17 years of loyalty.

Pro frame made out of nice satin black, tilt and high adjusments. Cons,terrible speakers, usb port under monitor are very hard to access, unable to put on ECO mode since a humming noise will drive you crazy, it does not have any preset, like game, movie,etc. To switch between imputs you have to go thruoght the whole menu, literaly it will take you at least two minutes.

I bought this monitor to replace my VG191 19 inch flat panel, with which I've been delighted for about 5 years. I wasn't especially happy that all monitor cases seem to be black these days, nor that I had to pay for embedded speakers in order to get the 24 inch VG Series with swivel base. But I went ahead. Overall, I'm pretty happy. I had to do quite a bit of tweaking to get the color and brightness right, finally adjusting the relative intensity of individual RGB levels in my NVIDIA 7300 control software. I posted a technical question regarding setup to Viewsonic's support people, but never received a response. My other gripe is that the day after I spent $255 for this monitor (yes, that's the VERY NEXT DAY!), thsi retailer started handing out $25 gift cards to people spending more than $250. Hey, that's me! But they didn't want to hear about it. Sorry. No $25 gift card for YOU!

awesome monitor for 254 bucksonly gave a 4 in features because of the speakers other than that i couldnt be happier with this monitor games look better than ever.

The Viewsonic VG2427WM monitor is a great monitor for $299. It is light weight and very easy to adjust all of the controls and only draws 31 watts. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a superior 24 inch monitor. The picture couldn't be any better.
